Hello I am using kiss on 3 chars, tank SK, warrior dps (I know lol) and bst dps.

I want to the 2 dps classes dont move to behind the mob anymore, so I read the kissassist wiki and changed Stickhow to zero, but in the game these chars still move to behind the mob, often falling to lava and other things.

Any help? Thanks!

check your mq2melee in the melee section. it will need to be turned off.

hum... but if I turn it off, does the characters still do melee combat?
mq2melee does a lot of stuff. including stickhow. KissAssist just allows you, the user, to use mq2melee's function if you choose to. if you have the melee section turned on, he will still do melee, just not utilize the plugin if turned off.

The issue is he wants all toons facing the mobs when in combat, which is unusual , because you get damage bonus and hits when hitting mobs from behind. Not sure its possible to set that feature like that . Would be interesting to know its possible

I want because I like to level up low level toons 20-70 on indoors zones, like velketor. So when I engage with the tank, the 2 melee dps chars run to assist and fall from narrow platforms, or fall on lava on other zones. I like mq2melee all features, just this auto positioning I wanted to turn off.

Edit: And I want this off too because on other maps when I am playing with other people, I think the auto moving to behind the boss is a give away that I am using mq2kiss, because the toon sometimes get stuck on trees or part of the map. With these lots of suspensions I think people are more aware of the people that use mq.

You can set the stickmode or define what stickcmd you do want.

Using stickmode:
From in game it would be /melee stickmode=2 then /melee save
Be aware, if you don't have any other macro or plugin providing movement, your characters will require manual movement or dropping the mobs at the dps feet.

stickcmd:
If you want to change how mq2melee is handling sticking, you will need to do /melee stickmode=1 and then modify the stick options (StickCmd), but I don't know how to do the StickCmd from ingame. Don't forget /melee save.
Need to add StickCmd=<your stick options> to the character ini, in the [MQ2Melee] section. For example, StickCmd=!front loose 15

mq2melee ini values are saved in your character's ini. <server>_<characterName>.ini
A list of stick options can be found in MQ2MoveUtils.
[Melee]
AssistAt=99
MeleeOn=1
FaceMobOn=0
MeleeDistance=35
StickHow=moveback 80% loose
AutoFireOn=0
UseMQ2Melee=1
This is the meele-section of a toon I want to melee with least possible movement.
It just start melee adjusting the distance without any further moving around the mob.
As far as I remember I never made any changes to the mq2melee settings.
