Guide - How Raz Made about 3mil plat a night! Older info but this is how....

I cannot stress this enough, the more people know about this the less plat you will make! Even 1 other person on your server does this and you will make a lot less plat! The 1st night I made 3mil, now I am making less, I have the same inventory but the market can only bare so many items.

On to the Guide...

It is all about the location of your puller! He will be pulling 2 separate named. They are Vizat the Defiled and Yulin the Flameweaver, Yulin is pure gold as he drops non-lore items! Vizat is tricky as his drops some lore items, I have a bazaar toon in barter to buy his lore for 1plat and parcel it to holder toons, if you don't you will make less but still a lot.

Loot you can expect:
• Castaway Tunic NOT LORE
• Fused Coral Longbow LORE
• Overflowing Urn of Life LORE NO TRADE
• Runed Shawl of Vizat LORE
• Castaway Armguards NOT LORE
• Divine Sigil of Prexus NOT LORE
• Fused Coral Knife NOT LORE


Where to stand? -996.48 -775.97 -19.94 is where I stand my puller (warrior with bow pulls long range!) You must have CC as you will get multiple pulls! DONT stand close to the edge of the water, falling in BLOWS! I put the rest of my team near the center of the pyramid, but not on top, it will port you away! You can bind your whole team at the spot!
Here is a map marked with a star! Set your pull at 350 so you don't "wander"

the 2 named are not shy at all! They pop A LOT! Sometimes 4 times an hour! x2 named with up to 24 pieces of loot that all sell for around 100k a pop on my server! So that is a possible 2.4mil an hour! not to mention they drop Brinys and collectables that can also net you a few plat. Around 10k each on my server. Adds up when you have stacks of 20! You will average quite a lot of plat with this! But even if 1 other person on your server also is selling these items the price will plummet! I watched it drop in half!

MATH... hurts.... brain..... there are 2 spawn locations for each named.... so you can DOUBLE the possible spawn rate! I know cause I just chain killed Yulin 5 times from both locations! 9 pieces of gear!

I seem to have flooded the market on my server, the price has dropped to 1/3rd of the original but I am getting about 30 pieces a day so it is still win win!

Before you all start bitching that you cannot make 3 mil NOW, this was my big secret for making 400mil plat in the last expac so I thought I would share now and spread it around....

I remember doing that spot from the other side, during the double boss spawn bonus. I still have castaway tunics sitting in the bank and on my trader.

This is exactly where I setup KISS for the very first time. The other guide in here talked about the named spawns, so I was there for the castaway gear. Issue I had was I couldn't keep from falling into the water once in a while, and without warp it's a pain in the ass getting back up to the group. Even if you setup coth it's kind of a pain.

I tested so many spots in there until I found the exact loc where I could reliably pull the named AND never fall off... location, location, location...

This also explains why on some servers Castaway Arms dropped to like 3k...

EVERY expansion there is some good spot to farm and make massive platinum.

Crappy thing about EoK is I'm not seeing attunable or other easily bazaar-able gear so far, so you're left with purity augs and (I'm assuming... haven't seen this yet) expansion-wide ultra-rare items similar to cotf or TDS.

Zero reason to even have to bind and gate Sum1, just setup a barter with prices of what you are farming for like 1 cp and you can sell to them from anywhere in the world.

I do the /barter toon thing, no easier way to move stuff, then you go back to "work" while he parcels or banks the loot.... Lore items are a pain but manageable...

With Cotf going FTP the market for the Castaway gear will surge so this is the perfect time to do this! Just remember the more people on a server doing it the lower the prices will be. for awhile I was getting 120k a pop for the chest!

I've gotten two of the +35 purity augs, and they quickly sell for 2m a pop. I've also been unloading CoTF rares (especially weapons) at 2m a pop (Secare, Perc, etc.). Vim and vigor ornaments still selling well, and I picked up a bunch of the Lcea ones I haven't even put on a trader, yet.

Why do you have so many traders, by the way? Don't want people to target you to shut you out of the market or something?

Why do you have so many traders, by the way? Don't want people to target you to shut you out of the market or something?

1) So many items to sell with only 100 trade slot restriction
2) Selling to a buyer causes the value of the item to go down because now you have created extra competition
3) Buyers resell it for 100-5000% of the value they bought it, why not just sell it at the price you want while you can hold the monopoly on it by putting a trader up.

The strategy here is simple, monopolize the item. Sometimes I will even go and buy the item out on traders and resell it, to ensure the monopoly stays active for a few more weeks, because there is no way to farm the item fast enough.

Befouled silk is a good example, I'll push the price down to like 2000pp per silk on trader, then buy everyone out and sell it for 5000pp.

You set a toon as /buyer with low price for your lore item, say 1pp. Once you get a lore item while farming (assuming all of your 6 toons in your group has it already) you go ahead and sell it for that /buyer toon in bazaar while you're still farming at your camp, call it like reverse parcel system.
