ne 1 have cool trick 4 use teleport forward AA?

In all seriousness, is there a time in your normal gameplay loop where you use these things? Share!

Any cool stories of crazy shit you have pulled off with them?

I always think I should remember I have them, and I'm sure there are times that I could've/should've used them... if i had only known or thought about it.

Cheers!

There's an nos mission that some folks them on to not get hit by statue dudes.

I sometimes use them in coordination with FD to move past stuff. Fd. Left + right mouse to face a direction. Stand. AA. Insta FD.

I actually am fairly certain, that at least under circumstances in ToV this would trigger dbg "warp" detection lol

Used gladstriker's leap on my ranger a few times just to see what it was about.

First lesson: it makes your cammo/invis drop.
Second lesson: it only puts you about 2 feet human measure from where you were
Third lesson: you look like this:

So, no I don't use it.

The leap abilties have the same issues with clipping objects that casting/melee do

I know some people that use it all the time. It works for them. Not my play style. I've always found that i hit a bump in the dirt about 2 steps in front of me so i don't get that full fling(even with lev on). Also, when i am playing i am boxing, not always using MQ, but boxing in some form. /Follow doesn't like it.

From a pulling bard standpoint I can see the benefit so you can jump ahead of mobs and you don't have casting stand-still issues. Any other puller I use I do the reverse fling/pull like hate's attraction or moving mountains. Or i will use pet pull strats.

For my zerk or warrior battle leap it is great for engaging as it will fling me from where my casters are and drops me right on mob. Previously it would shoot them past the mob.

on raids you use it all the time to get in/out of auras or other emote compliance mechanics. It does take some level of skill to aim correctly and not get stuck on terrain.

Can help for mob positioning. Running back to camp, mob in pursuit, I run through the group then spin and jump. Timed right, the mob is stupidly :shh::eyepop:looking around trying to locate me, till I wack it again and the group starts beating it's back.

Not your fault when there are like 40 reasonably important things to click. I figure a person is a pro if they use even 12 abilities on a regular basis. And a big reason MQ is so successful since it lets you automate many of those clicks.
Even just using ISboxer and keybinding about as many aa's and spells into a couple button presses.... Ya the game can be pretty overly complex sometimes. Arbitrary complications to promote more wasted time.

I typically forget about them outside of pulling, but I do hit them to get there quicker when running somewhere.

Haven't seen it mentioned but I definitely have used them as an oh shit button to get back to the group asap when snared/rooted/dotted/whatever while pulling
