Question - How do I stop the tank from charging to the mob while/after running KA?

Running KA12, but this was also an issue with the previous version.

I generally drive my tank, but occasionally when doing mindless grinding, or I want to watch a movie/do housework, I'll run KA pullertank on it.

Whenever I run pullertank, the tank runs off grabs mob, comes back to campspot, but then when the mob gets close, the tank charges forward to engage rather than letting the mob get completely to camp. This behavior continues even after i unload KA on the tank. It only stops if I unload mq2melee and reload it. So obviously it has to do with mq2melee, but I run mq2melee full time, and this only happens after running KA. I tried unloading mq2melee while running pullertank and the tank just stood around (if I remember correctly, it's been a few weeks since I tried it.)

I would like to at least cut back on the distance the tank will charge to the mob because in some camps it's led to the dps not assisting because its engaged too far from camp or geometry getting in the way of the dps . This is especially annoying once I've begun driving again and it charges out to the mobs I've just pulled.

Any ideas on what setting I need to try playing with?

[Melee]
AssistAt=100
MeleeOn=1
FaceMobOn=1
MeleeDistance=65 <------------------ Change this setting here in your ini. I have mine set to 45
StickHow=snaproll
AutoFireOn=0
UseMQ2Melee=1
TargetSwitchingOn=0

also under [General]

I have CampRadius=45 as well keeps things tight

Hope that helps

Yeah, I was going to say, it's all campradius and meleedistance. Fiddle those, restart KA, and pull another mob, see how it goes. Keep playing with it until you're comfy. ;)

Yeah MQ2melee will do that "lock on target" thing. KA will load or unload it based on the setting below.

Start by turning it off in KA and let the macro handle the movement. Then your campradius and meleedistance settings will control the tank's engage distance:
INI:
[Melee]
UseMQ2Melee=0

Since you mentioned it can happen even when you turn off KA, you can manually turn if off when you're not running KA by unloading or a temp toggle like:
INI:
/melee off

If you like some of the auto-melee stuff, but want more manual control of the toon's movement you can do these settings:
INI:
/melee stickbreak=1
/melee save

This is my Mq2melee settings:

stickbreak=1
stickmode=1
stickrange=75

KA ini

Role=pullertank
CampRadius=5
CampRadiusExceed=50
ReturnToCamp=0
ChaseAssist=0
ChaseDistance=5

And

AssistAt=95
MeleeOn=1
FaceMobOn=1
MeleeDistance=75
StickHow=snaproll
AutoFireOn=0
UseMQ2Melee=1
TargetSwitchingOn=0

I'm going to try stickrange and melee distance to 45, but i"m confused as to why a KA setting would be continuing after ending KA on that account.

If UseMQ2Melee=1 will ignore sticking in KA. But Kiss will still send you at the mob when the mob gets with in MeleeDistance of you. If you set CampRadius and MeleeDistance equal to the same value then kiss will ignore sending you towards the mob on incoming.

Here are the changes made to UseMQ2Melee:

MQ2MeleeOn can now be 0/1/2. This allows for how you want to let MQ2Melee handle sticking.
StickMode is now set to 0 or 1 based on MQ2MeleeOn setting.
MQ2MeleeOn=0 Turn off and unload MQ2Melee.
MQ2MeleeOn=1 Use MQ2Melee and let MQ2Melee auto control sticking. This options does NOT use the melee StickCMD.
MQ2MeleeOn=2 Use MQ2Melee and let MQ2Melee control sticking. This option uses the melee StickCMD.

Hope this helps.
