Question - How do i earn enough plat to keep a full group krono'd?

@tomahawkeer as a few people in this thead already suggested redmonkey and an_image ? best sub just your tank then rotate your crew each month for a sub krono .. then your only needing to spend 10m a month for krono's on any server other than FV..

I sub 3 accounts via krono when i can but my main account (tank , or driving accnt) is always sub'd .. I have a trader that I sub also but that is included in the 3 .. my trader pulls in between 2 -3 krono a month worth of pp and thats usually on a slow month on a good month i can swing 4 or 5.. but it also depends on what you have to sell .. I purchase the merch upgrade for my trader so he has the extra bag slots ( thats R/L cash , but its only $3/mo) i spend a day or 2 few hours each day farming stuff for my trader then leave it alone for the month ..

I then spend about 3 -5 hours maybe 5 days a month farming other stuff to sell .. some of that stuff goes onto trader and some I sell in general or to buyers ..

I wouldnt say its a Full time job .. I have like 9 accounts (trader included) that I like to sub (besides my main 3) everyonce in awhile for AA's .. for me as was mentioned above I dont go to bars anymore so EQ is my hobby , but if i can earn my krono in-game rather than pay for EQ and it only takes me few days time vs 30 days i get to play all 9 of my accounts for free then i do not mind putting in that 4 to 5 days a month ( which is only few hours / day ) .. and if my trader makes min 2 krono a month then it pays for itself and my main toon .. so that just leaves me having to come up with maybe 5 or 10m pp extra for either an extra krono for another account or spending pp for TSing or spells etc..

However, if you were wanting to sub all 6 toons and needing to come up with 30 - 60m pp then i can see that could be a full time job and would take you most of the month to achieve that goal then that would not be fun for me .. at that point I would prolly just give EQ my real cash to free up some more actual play time ..

there is plenty of ways to make pp in game ( this does not include FV server)

setting up a trader can pull 1 -2kr min /mo
setting up a buyer ( buy low sell high for TS mats) also although its a 2m cap people still have krono listed to buy there.. you never know it only takes 1 generous person to sell you that 1 krono , it could happen
setting up a few bot groups to farm gems/ TS mats /gear to sell on trader
setting up a PL session to sell you only need 1-3 toons to do a PL depending on lvls of the PLee
setting up group to sell TA's to the ToV and ToL missions ( would req you able to box them, or have friends) also there is the Jann's Viel people still want that ..

if you could do all of those ^ above you could pull in 6kr a month pretty easily by just doing a few sessions a week .. maybe offering TA's 1 or 2 days a week .. a PL 1 day a week and have your bot groups do a few days a week . plus have your trader up all month .. so it can be done ..

I just buy krono on ECtunnel cheaper than paying for subs monthly from DPG especially if you are buying 10 or more krono at a time.
I farm real money to do so, its much faster than farming plat.

One thing sort of like pling that could get you some krono is selling accounts and even other things on ectunnel, I see people that make leveled blanks and trade them for krono all the time. Not sure its a very profitable situation but using fellowship experience and that sort of thing its pretty easy to get a toon up to 115-120 then sell it for 5 krono naked with some aas and junk gear. I have bought some accounts this way.

I definitely can't seem to find anyone selling kronos for plat very often. I have a lot of plat accumulated over time just gathering dust in the bank without any interest. Blood-soaked gear is rarely even selling for krono these days on my server. Basically, resigned to sub my 12 main accounts.

I never have a problem finding krono if your buying for what they are going for + alilttle more .. right now on my server they are going for around 5.5m so if you offer 5.5 might take few days to get 1 .. if you offer 5.8 or even 6m i bet you get one within few hours .. on the other end of the spectrum if your only offering 5.1 or 5.2 you'll be looking for a long time ..

also Blood-soaked have come way down in krono value as once the new expansion launches they will be obsolete unless your still a F2P toon and what i mean by F2P , you might have gold status but your expansions only go up to CoV .. i can buy blood-soaked on my server for between 1.5m -2m pp the pally/sk weapons and the tank shield go for a bit more about 3m .. I've purshased 3 of those BS claymore's in last week for 3m each ..

They sell for 5 mil on my server and I advertise for 5.5 or 6 mil no dice. Same on the BS prices though. Just was hoping to get a krono for some of them instead of more plat I don't need lol.

The last time I sold Krono was to buy tradeskill mats so that's where the plat went in my case. Krono trading is a really low return enterprise that's largely engaged in by people who can afford 3rd world sweatshop workers to run their accounts. All the idiots shrieking about "bot crews" are just stalking a lot of poor guys on the other side of the world working for well below minimum wage.

I sell Krono every once ina blue moon if I"m trying out a new server to get some plats...much faster to start fully decked than naked

Dbg can simply click the generate button to generate tons of kronos to sell to us in the game… by plat…reduce the total amount of plat in the game, delay the plat depreciation of the server, and maintain the healthy economy of the server.

Well, if they had a company policy to do this, it would be weird because they sell the krono for $$. It would be odd to forego the income in order to play games with a fake, in-game currency.

If it were rogue employees doing this under-the-table, they would be easily caught since every krono transaction is logged and audited.

if you want to make the krono you'll have to figure out your own method, but thats a source that someone with drive and half a brain can easily make a fortune with. i was not seeking out a platinum farm or to fund my accounts, but i made 30 krono in the month i played the oakwynd release. Single accounts can make multiple kronos a day with low effort methods. you'll not be able to get away with AFK there nearly as much (if you contest any of these camps you will almost certainly experience an AFK check. petitions there are basically how people try to PVP you out of the spot lol). i played legit and it was pretty enjoyable for me.

the market there is also extremely malleable unlike on live. you can make 2 kronos worth of items, but end up getting 5 kronos for it if you're willing to be ruthless. i had 2 particular items that people were adamant were only worth a fraction of what i sold them for daily. it kept people away from the camp and i would occasionally buy one at the lower price and sell it for triple.
