Here is a guide for 3-boxing in the often crowded area of HoT, lower.

Recommendations:
J5 mercs
Gold subscription
High DPS group (I use BER/BRD/SHM)
1 messer in the group

Location:

HoT1.jpg

This spot has no roamers and a good view to a lot of single pulls and a few 2x mob pulls.
To get to the spot, hug the wall to your left when you enter the zone from Feerrott.
(the spot to the right is nearly equivalent)

Pulling:
I use MaxRadius=500 and MaxZRange=75 at this spot.
This covers enough to keep the pulling going but most importantly avoids that my puller interferes with an eventual other group at the other side of the yard.
This is quite important as the zone at the moment - at least on my server - is home to a lot of newly created heroic characters.

Nameds:
You wanna set your KissAssist_Info up like this:
MobsToBurn=Gristle,Giblets,Nightscale,Fearhowler
Fearsniffer is not added to MobsToBurn in order to avoid the burn cascade triggering on mobs such as "a rotdog fearsniffer".

Crowd control:
You wanna set your KissAssist_Info up like this:
MezImmune=Gristle,Fearsniffer,Giblets,Nightscale,Fearhowler
If your tank merc is J5 and 87+ it might be able to do without CC depending on the individual named.
Important to say that the majority of the named pulls are single ones from this spot. But it is important to have everything covered when afk.

Mercs:
I tank this with a J5 level 85 tank merc set to "Aggressive" with "Auto Assist" enabled.
I heal with a J5 level 85 healer merc set to "Reactive" with "Auto Assist" enabled. Mobs in this zone hit slow but hard; so I have found reactive to be the one of choice.
I dps with a A5 level 87 melee dps merc set to "Balanced" with "Auto Assist" enabled.

Active playing:
If you're semi-afk'ing/actively playing I highly recommend that u pause the macro now and then and run to get/hand-in the repeatable kill task(s) from Ruppoc Rockjumper.
It is the best exp boost to offer yourself.
He is located right at the entrance. Very close to the mentioned camp(s).

This is great work, helps a ton for people like myself that have been away from the game since DoN, thanks :)
I would like to see more of these up to 100 and maybe some post 100 for gear farming.

Just add #Fearsniffer. The way KISS searches for spawns does a partial match, not exact:
Rich (BB code):
${Spawn[${MobsToBurn.Arg[${i},,]}].ID}==${MyTargetID}

Although that avoids the easier solution that so long as you arent using mq2headshot, you can verify all names with:
(${Target.Named}||${Target.Find[#]} && ${Target.Type.NotEqual[pet]} && !${Target.Master.ID} && !${Target.Surname})

If KISS used that, you wouldnt need a MobsToBurn anyway~ Though, as mentioned, mq2headshot would interfere with the .Surname check.

That is a great camp 80-88 or so, but I would agree that you need to be very careful if you full AFK there. On my server it is fairly common to see AFK'rs camping on that side of Courtyard and tends to annoy the general population. Seems to generate a lot of venting in OOC about MQ users and the occasional training by peeps that want to camp in CY but the same group has been in that camp AFK for hours at a time. Just want to be careful not to draw unwanted attention to the MQ2 community.

Just to echo the sentiments: full AFK in active zones is a BAD idea. I took this write up as a guide to a place to box, not AFK (since there's the bit about the kill quests at the bottom). If you want to full AFK, I would suggest finding something more out of the way; higher tier in older expansions tends to work well because very few venture there.

Is the 'mobstoburn' like a spawn search because you could use range 88 88 and it'll burn all the nameds since named are the only mobs level 88 in the zone.

Its only by name. It makes your burn section go off automatically if the named mob matches your ini file and you are killing git in camp.

I agree. On my server this is a packed camp. I've seen many afk in the basement though. You just have to kill down because of the see invis along the way.

New to the scene... This looks like a great place to get my feet wet with the program and my warrior/chanter/monk heroic trio.

Bit of a necro post, but I'm leveling a new team and tried this spot out last night at 85. These mobs hit HARD, huge bump up in damage from SOD areas. Would definitely recommend upgrading tank out of Elegant defiant gear, and looking for those 900hp items. I was able to scrape by by manually pulling and having a chanter to mez the occasional add. Nameds required all my cooldowns on the SK. Really looking forward to coming back here after I gear up a bit and get another level or two. Zone seemed pretty dead on a Sunday evening on a busy server so I had the whole field to myself.

Last night I went and grabbed all the non-visible pieces from the Feerot Vendor for 30x dream motes each, and that was enough of a boost to make grinding in this spot very comfortable. Only issue is there is still quite a bit of foot traffic here on my server. I'm going to look into some camps a bit deeper into the house or maybe try the basement to hide out a little better. This camp is awesome though, the nameds pop frequently and I have all the abstruses for a full set of visible armor (although it is pretty expensive to purchase the templates off bazaar still)

u could cheat and go to get the stuff from ethemere tainted west karana. that should be very good for that zone. or do the quests to open t2 tbm stuff and augment it

Hm I don't have TBM expansion so I don't think I can do the TBM progression. I had not heard of ethemere tainted that's some nice looking gear. But I'm still only level 86ish so I think I have some time before ethemere tainted WK, but will definitely remember to go out there.

na do gribbles tasks, they give currency to get the stuff. I think the first one and easiest one is open to any lvl after 75. do it over n over

If you want you can do t2 (the grounds) and buy the templates off of the vendors instead. Like 10k each. Once you can handle those named.

Ya I've been xping in the grounds just not off nameds yet, they are hitting super hard but new cleric heals have helped. And my wizzies are tearing through the mobs better with your wizzies in jarsath haha. I'll give that a shot once I hit 90 over the holiday, thanks for the suggestion!

Really like the write up. I am currently doing something very similar there. Running a 86 Necro, 86 Mage, and 87 Beastlord. With 2 J5 healer mercs and 1 J5 DPS Melendez merc. The group can handle any mob combonition up to 1 named and 2 normal.

I manually pull with the Necro. I am currently having an issue with getting the puller to return to camp, but I thing once I update the mesh for the zone I should be good to put the puller on auto Andy then run the Beastlord in camp.

Still very new to boxing and using MQ2 so it's been a great learning experience.
