Release Heroes Are Forged Mission Script 1.7.1 Auto-Update Config

Worked nearly flawlessly. Even got soundproof which i still havent found a good way to box.
Three things that are not the programs fault, but likely nav or mesh problems:
I have an issue where my toons will get stuck coming down the ramp from zone in, so when i started mission, my tank got stuck in a loop of crap... I had to take levi off to manage.
I had 2 instances where it didnt switch to the egg sac when the spider queen would warp away and it made me missed cracked.
My Short races sometimes get stuck in the water and cant get out. I had to interrupt them while I was running this mission and get them into a form that wouldn't fall into the water.
 
I run with a shaman (cwtn group) and when Lich is up, tab over to the shaman to /shm pause and dot the Lich. You need to get dots on it ASAP, as all the movement later will prevent them.

For your getting stuck issue I was having the same thing until I updated the mesh. So you might want to make sure your meshes are current.

i haven't had a problem winning this since the patch but i do get a mummy where before i had maybe seen one mummy ever.

I have the most updated meshes. but ive always had a series of problems on this mission. could be my team, could be my play style.

I am strugglying myself. I think having strong DPS is the key, other then strong pet DPS. So I removed my shaman and rolling up a berserker. I will see within a few weeks how that works.
 
I use SK as primary tank, shm, bst, rog and 2 mages. When everything goes as I hope this is successful but since the last patch I find pathing issues that half of the time ends up with some of group dying before the tank can get down to the slime. I try to pause and use a rez token but this leaves me with a toon or two with limited capacity (no mana, no end) and generally leads to a wipe. I've updated my mesh, and perhaps I need to manually update it or something but I am not up to speed on how this is accomplished. IF anyone has any suggestions please let me know! I swear once I have 5 more necklaces I will never do this one agian!

With Spirit of Tala'Tak your tank sould be at the slime before he goes active using this Lua. If not you could move your group back a few feet and use the trigger phase with the Lua on pause and run straight off the ledge to get there quicker. I have yet had this particular scenario happen.
 
Ya, im not sure how your not getting to slime in time. If your at the keys you could manually run the tank off the edge with levi on to get down quicker.

You could always put everyone but your healer at the slime spawn, and trigger with your paused healer (on chase), unpause and tab to tank. That’s how I engage, playing manually. Not sure if the Lua would prevent that. You could also coh your trigger toon since you’re running mages.
 
Since the patch this no longer works... Can't seem to do anything but run around in circles when Lich spawns, doesn't handle the Mummy without spamming navigation stuff which ends up wiping the whole group.
 
Oh and the meshes need to be customized in order for characters to not get lost in the water and on the lava.... no clue what happened, it was such a good Lua. RIP.

I suspect your experience is vastly different than the majority of people using this Lua. While things have changed a little bit due the the patch changes the Lua still works very very well. My win rate has decreased since patch but it's from a 109% win rate to maybe a 90%. And I bet I could avoid most of that ten percent failure by being better prepared, more optimized or less drunk when running it.

So saying that this no longer works since patch is absolutely and categorically wrong.
 
I would refresh your meshes they were updated and it works just fine for me. Lich summons tank now so there should only be naving from the assist toons.

The only issues I've seen and it's not the scripts' fault is two bugs on daybreaks side. The spider can get knocked into the negative Z axis and become unhittable except by pets. This is a known EQ bug since expansion launch. The second one is weird. My tank gets anchored where it can't jump and has a levitate buff but not levitating. I have to camp out and back in and everything is fine again.
 
It sounds like you missed the step where you LOAD the LEM before you run this script.

The Lem is the thing that helps you to avoid getting blown up.

/dgga /Lua run lem

Make sure everyone in the group has the event ticked.

then do a Lua /run haf_missision on your MT

Your tank shouldn't be hitting the eggs. If he's hitting a widowmaker you have already failed. If he's hitting the queen then the eggs shouldn't be active. Force pets with a hotkey if need be.

I'll try the hotkey. It seems to happen every time that when the eggs are up, instead of telling the group members to attack the eggs, he stays focused on the spider and everyone else does the same thing.

When the spider is right near the egg pop, the script doesn't seem to "see" the eggs. You only have to /targ egg on driver toon and script will wake up.

I've found that for some reason the tank targets spider boss when its inactive and eggs are up. Often times simply hitting ESC key will clear targets and it will then target eggs.

I believe the issue is my melee classes were attempting to attack the egg sacs as well and causing some issues. I made a small change to the script instead of setting mode 2 when the sacs spawn, it sets everyone to mode 0 then after the sacs are gone, sets back to mode 2. It seems to have made all the difference and I was able to get the achievement.

I don’t think there is really anything wrong with the script but after the patch I have noticed it’s really buggy. I’ve had the spider get stuck where only pets can hit it so many times I can’t keep track at this point. When the game doesn’t bug things up it goes really smooth for my team.
 
I'm still having success with this script, is it perfection? - it's EQ so no.

It has helped me win twice a day for a couple weeks now, usually without even losing a merc. Using others feedback and using takeaways from others video's...

I.E.
Hit COP4 or something extra if you are not beating the Ooze, before "the green one".
I have had much better results with caster mercs than any others, if you don't have 6 characters.
Before each Spider port, push your swarm pet button on 1 character. (handy to refocus pets sometimes) with a /tar egg - /pet attack - /swarm. etc button, even though /pet is in the script.
Lich issues? push your Intensity of the Resolute button and or Burn a Glyph - (lesson before opening chest will get you those AA + more back)
Make a Gina trigger for whom is called out (to run).
MQ2Nav tools, make a waypoint at the top beside the Event NPC - push that Navi to waypoint button - the script will let them run away and auto-return when they are supposed to. (for some reason, my characters don't run away on their own and that is okay - because this works fine).

That being said, RNG hates me, or they changed what drops. No Gallant TS armor Linings since the patch. :shrug:

another small issue is that mage pets will get stuck in the landscape sometimes. Ive had a couple scenarios where mage pet will be off stuck in a wall in one of the buildings and i had to summon companion it to get it out. Not sure if there's a check for this, or something just to wary of.
 
How's this going post patch? I havn't had a chance to test it since been running missions with live players lately.
 
So far I am 3 (wins) out of 4 after the patch and was able to get both Soundproof and Cracked achievements. Thank you num1pkfutura.
 
It works pretty good when I run it correctly. =) I screwed up and ran it with a /dga, so the whole group was running it. Unmitigated disaster lol. Might be a a good idea to have the script check for that to be idiot proof.
 
Could someone clue me in.... I have the lem loaded on all toons and we all get wiped on the green slime at the start. 125 sk, 125 zerk, 125 shm, 123 rogue, 125 mage and 125 necro. They're all CWTN what in the world am I doing wrong?

Are you wiping due to the add?

A bit more description as to what is occurring might be helpful but as a shot in the dark, what's your dps?

1.71M for dps, the slime started glowing then poof 4 of 6 were dead. Do I need to manual that soon?

Sounds like your dps may ber light and the aura spawns an add that is keeeling you
 
Set your BER to 1 burncount and see how that goes. 1.7 is pretty low. I run this with FTP crew and it's all good.
 
One more thing. If this LEM hasn't changed since the last time I have used it, it's going to set your SK's burncount to 2. You can manually change that while running to the slime. If the green slime pops, your going to burn.
 
The dot from the Boss slime is a death sentence for my group with only a shaman healer. It can be avoided with enough DPS to kill him before the DOT happens. The red aura is a warning that the DOT is coming soonish. Alternatively, I dropped one my weaker characters for a healer merc, and that helped a little, bandaid fix, could heal through it about half the time. More DPS is the best option.

I like to use BP clickies, and short cooldown adps here. Save the big burns for the Lich.
 
Wish I could get this to work well. I have run 4 lvl 125 cwtn toons (sk, clr, 2xmag) and a 125 wiz and 125 bard. I bought some Ogre pots for my small toons as they were getting stuck in the canals. But still only get at most as far as the lich and wipe. SK seems to ping all over the place picking up adds an group gets all split up. I've tried will SK having FollowMe on and off. I've tried SK hitting ComeToMe when he's tanking. But all gets so crazy on lich that the all wipe. Even before that, with the spider going upstairs and downstairs, the toons get stuck behind webs and can't get to the SK so I have to manually run them there.
Any idea what I could be doing wrong please?
