I dont know why, but after the first queen pop, my lot start chasing the queen - even though they cannot get to her.

This usually ends up in one or all of the bots dying.

This happens with or without the egg mode on

I haven’t had this issue. Try hitting ESC when this happens on tank to clear target to see if it corrects. Also if you can provide a snippet screenshot of the MQ window when this is happening too. Just make sure no character name info is in snippet.
 
It's working much better for me once I changed to all CWTN plugin chars. One thing I still run into a bit - I have to have a hotkey to "/tar egg". Usually the 2nd or 3rd egg they never switch off the queen target. Once I started using that hotkey, I had no more issues with the eggs and got cracked just fine.

That has happened to me 3 times in a row now. The second or third egg.

I found an issue I wondered about how to deal with. I normally get an Green slime add when killing the Slime Mini boss, I survive it and no big deal (usually..ha) and after the boss dies, group attacks the green slime add. I can say its my DPS needs a boost, but before the add is dead (normally) everyone is off the attack the Queen Spider and that part holds everything for attacking the green slime. So the slime is following me around during the whole spider/egg part. my guys won;t attack the slime to get rid of it, even while waiting around and doing nothing while pets kill the egg. I tried targeting the slime, but it auto targets the egg.

Since I run RGmercs I didnt use the Lua, only used the LEM that makes them run away from the notes, but that helped =)

Make yourself a "PAUSE" hotkey to give you more control.

first find out the Process ID of the Lua.
Type /Lua ps or /Lua GUI and it will show you the processes that a running.

it will say something like hafmission 3 Im at work so i cant see the actual syntax - but its something like this.

Then make a hotkey.
/Lua pause 3

Test it. The Pause works as a toggle. Pause on, Pause off. You can see the process pause in the Lua GUI.


Ok now when you are killing the Slime and you get the add - hit your Pause button. Switch to the add and kill it before you kill the main slime. Then hit your Pause button again.

Same thing when killing Spiders - you can regain control by pausing and unpausing.

I run this with 1 gold and 5 FTP. Sometimes tank is gold and other times I run gold melee. My dps is low but I found that if I burn with just 1 toon the slime drops everytime w/o green slime add. I was wiping too many times from the explosion. The rest of the event is trivial but it's no speed run by any means.
 
I still can't get the thing to get soundproof complete. They just aren't running away or they run away and stop to soon. Last mission I manually set everyone to manual mode when lich was dying. Didn't help yet.

If you're fighting her next to the little retaining wall where the water is, try and move away a little bit. I think my toons were getting stuck between group, her and the wall.

I have found that it is important to make sure your toons are big for this, i have much better success when my gnomes and halflings are in a larger form so they dont get stuck on the stupid forge and aqueduct areas

Campfires with illusion works nicely
 
I was thinking to maybe get the lich to less than 3% and then call off everyone to the little area just up the first steps from the forge toward the entrance. I usually drop a campfire there. I figure I'll let the tank keep killing the lich and have everyone else gather at the campfire. Once she pops I'll let him get aggro and have all the pets head in...he can tank her without heals...last night it went to shit at 10% everyone but tank died and he finished her off from 10% solo and was still at 60% mana.

I've tried shrunk, normal sized, lev and no lev. Once stuck if I smash the movement keys the tank gets unstuck.

Any ideas? I'll go through and double check the next run that I'm not removing lev or anything.

Are you using a custom mesh? I use ogre illusion with lev on and it fixed all my sticking issues I had previously.
 
No no custom mesh. I will make sure that I have the latest though. And maybe look for an ogre illusion but hate to hide my beautiful barbian self!
Empowered campfire is the way to go IMO. Just be an ogre for a few mins, then go back to being a cute lil barbie ;-)

What he said! Just drop the ogre campfire, verify lev is still on you and I have yet to get stuck. I had previously had issues sticking on the canals but not as an ugly ass levitating ogre. lol

I never run this mission without the Ogre/Barbarian campfire dropped. I use Barbarian and have never had an issue - so curious there.

It also works really well if/when you camp Alloy or Ingot - the two named that spawn in the same area of the regular zone. Nothing jacks things up worse than being stuck in a moat.

So at it turns out I did not have a custom mesh but an out of date mesh. Updated it and was able to get over that hump. Failed the mission for the first time but think that has to do with the changes and not the team. Will work on it later.

Holy fuck! That summoning shit is annoying as hell now during the Lich phase. Before, if a mummy spawned, I'd switch over to kill the mummy. The summoning makes that impossible now cause Lich just chain summons my tank all over the damn place eventually leading to a wipe.

Today was the first time I have ever had a mummy or more than one widow on this event. Ended up with 2 or 3 mummies and wiped a few times as well. Going to go back later tonight and give it a shot again. The summoning is really annoying. The Lua _seemed_ to stay on the mummy ok but the wheels were falling off the wagon everywhere by that time.

Yeah....I used to just kill the mummy when it spawned and save burns for Shalowein....now I have to burn Lich, cause a mummy usually wipes me with the summoning. Its annoying.
 
A chain teleporting and summoning mob is the worst idea DB has ever implemented. I get why they added summoning to this mission. Too many folks were exploiting it by having ranged DPS stand on roofs and walls to avoid mechanics. DB really needs to fix this mission properly. It's totally FUBAR now...

Right. The issue they were trying to resolve by making the mobs summon isn't actually affected by making the mobs summon. They took a mission that was basically a middle finger to low- to mid-dps melee groups (read: most group-geared folks) and made it *worse* for those folks, while really only marginally affecting (or even benefitting because, let's be honest, having the tank get summoned makes re-engaging the lich easier) the folks who DBG was trying to target.
Although, maybe that's what they're going for now that I think about it for a minute. Maybe they're trying to put guardrails on the mission such that people who normally wouldn't be grouping have to group together. Sort of like having standing tables only at a dinner reception; it forces people to mingle. I dunno, but it's dumb.

So I finally got a chance to run this again after the patch. My first attempt the Lua still won for me. I did notice the summoning on the tank if you had a spider add and again on the Lich but I did not get a Slime Add or a Mummy. I'll try again after the lockout is up but im going to need quality feedback and specifics if something needs to be changed here.
 
Personally, I love the Lich summon - My tank is always on him faster than he could run there... The other mobs summoning, I haven't even noticed - if anything it has made this script even more usable by me and my crew.

Yeah, I'm starting to like it more and more now. It adds a bunch of damage that I wouldn't be able to do otherwise.

Same for me, I got it done easily now. I got soundproof and missed one egg by seconds.. but I should get it easily. Before.. I got smacked around and got adds.
 
Script works great although i consistently get the bug where the spider warps into a spot and my team cant hit him… only thing that can hit the spider queen are pets… whole dang XPAC has this same issue for me
 
My runs on this mission are a bit all over the place since the patch but I don't think it's the Lua. Previous to this patch I had never seen a mummy and only seen one widow during the previous 20 or so HAF missions I had run. Since patch I've run it ten times and had at least one mummy on six of them and a widow on at least half of them. But I've also had three runs that were smooth as silk. Nothing has changed in my line up of characters or the automation.

The summoning thing is the pits when you're trying to run from notes or kill a mummy and the lich keeps summoning.

At some point tomorrow I'm going to recheck everything and see if I'm doing something different or got complacent.

I agree, running prior to patch I rarely had a mummy spawn, now I'm getting one every 1minute (according to chat time stamps), had 3 up a time this last run and wiped. its super frustrating as my set up has not changed at all. I also feel the lich porting all over is worse, my casters cant get in a cast with it constantly moving positions, where before patch it was staying put for 10-15sec.

I have been trying to run 5 of the 6 in group on the Lua and then end rg on wizzy so it will target lich and just try and continue to burn the lich while group is killing the mummy, but this has not worked yet either. Its like the mummy has 2x the HP now.

So far I haven't had a single successful win since patch in this, versus running it 2-3 times a day successfully prior to patch.

probably will take a break at it until toons are more geared and MQ2Wiz comes out.

Find a way to get Lich down before the mummy pops. Stuff goes sideways in a hurry now with a mummy up due to the summoning.
 
Yeh I'm loving the summoning as well. Never was able to get the Lich down without a mummy pop. Now with him summoning the tank and the extra damage that's added, I've yet to get a mummy pop.

Winning this every time now. 7 flawless since the patch.
