Some more notes.

Ran this Lua 6 times today, finally achieved success on #6.

Runs 1/2/3/5 - One or two eggs were missed because pets stood there and did nothing.
Run 4 - Surprisingly got them all - I think this was sheer luck because we got trapped with the eggs 2x and they attacked the other 2.
Run 6 - Missed all 4 eggs.

Also when Shalowain goes live, I'd suggest that you change tank stance from Hunter Tank to either Manual or Sic Tank so we can actually move her around so you don't die to the sound AE.
 
Yes, I dont know if it was dumb luck but doing it with this lua I got the Soundproof achievement. I didnt do anything special, just let it run.
I have gotton this on some runs and not others, a lot of it seems to be how the toons behave.
When i got the ach, my tank didnt get emoted and was able to just kill near the forge.
When it fails, toons usually have run off all over the place.

I need to try with an illusion campfire and make sure everyone is big - i run gnomes and halflings, so at times, the toons that are running around get stuck
 
Echoing what some others have been saying. It is working.
Biggify your small characters. Use the map and watch for stuck characters. Give em a nudge forwards if they are stuck. I have not needed to use Lev.
Still no luck on the eggs achievement. Seems like the pets go and kill all of the eggs just fine. Minus the random issues where the eggsack room is full or something.
Make sure every character has the script installed, and saved, in LEM, but only run the start command from the tank.
Make a campfire just outside the zone in to Heroes Forge. Then if a character dies, and the group has moved elsewhere, you can respawn and campfire back pretty quickly.

If you pop all burns and swarm pets at the end of the SlimeBoss I have had luck getting the cracked achievement multiple times. The main goal of this script it for farming, not achievements.
 
I have zero issue getting to her but those dam sound notes just keep owning me.
I've had a ton of people test the LEM and I know that part works for running away. Some of the things that can mess this up are as follows:
  1. LEM isnt imported at all
  2. LEM isnt checked on for ALL characters in the group
  3. During Shalowain, you use a hotkey of your own that controls the movement of the group. Remember, the toons that got called out were changed to Manuel Mode on the CWTN plugins. This allows for them to cast (heal/nuke) while allowing the LEM to move them to a new waypoint every 2 seconds. The first name in emote runs for 35 seconds and the second name runs for 70 seconds. If you were to change the mode, call people to you or anything else like that.... LEM is now fuked.
  4. People have other LEM's ALSO controlling movement in conjunction to mine.
There are more potential issues but those are some of the big ones.

Thank you for clarification. I think your script works great for your intended purpose. I am close to getting the eggs. I only change the burn count now after it's running. I like to be in control of that aspect. Thank you again for your time spent writing and rewriting this.

I understand this - Not suggesting it needs a full fledged re-write of any kind - However, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't also encountered some targeting issues and/or bugs with the widows that could be completely prevented had the group just moved closer to the egg side to circumvent the range issue.

Perhaps once the group moves to the middle, they "unlock" allowing the user to move the group to get that range without cancelling the Lua? That would seem like an easy fix for those wanting to do the achievement and/or avoid the widows altogether.
 
With experimenting on when to use burn and pets on hot key, all went smooth and all achievements completed! I had a fart on the slime and lost all but tank. Went back and ran again and I forgot to give pets weapons. No problem with them cracking eggs! DPS is low but it's very doable. Keep on rocking! :rimshot:
 
all i can say is whatever magic happened to win this the first time i used has left the building. if its not one thing it is another. now my toons don't avoid shalowain at all and we wipe to the aoe. if i run them back they insta die running through the notes.

Just ran this after the egg change. Got 3/4 eggs, not sure what the problem was on the 4th. Got soundproof. Good job.
 
Running with 125 Pal, Cleric, Druid, Enc, Bard, and Beastlord... rocking full group gear and some ToL raid gear. With edition 1.6 I got my first win! Wasn't able to win at all with 1.5 so whatever you did was AWESOME! TY TY TY!
 
Is it possible to add an option to not chase the queen, i actually cannot see what benefit it serves at present.
Toons get caught up trying to move, and inevitably try chasing to the queen, which gets toons dead when the widow's go live.

If you dont like that part just hit the PAUSE button on the Lua GUI and then UNPAUSE when she goes live.

I cannot win. First iteration didn’t run to mobs and then people asked to run to them… I change it to run to them and now people don’t want it. The benefit is faster clears, especially for people who manually start burns for spider. Some people kill spider boss before it even goes active. My group gets spider boss to about 35% before it goes active. I also don’t have nav issues so I don’t know what issues your having while navigating to spider boss.
 
Some time ago I had the event time out because the Queen/widowmaker did not come to me as I expected. I was not running any Lua.
 
Two things came up on this run.
1. On one queen jump, she "jumped" to where she was already. The eggs were right there but the team continued whaling on the queen. Easily recovered.
2. Thanks for auto-loading the LEM. I'm not gonna say I would have forgotten it... but this is a nice feature.
 
During teh Shaolin stage is the tank supposed to just stand in one spot and tank, or should I be just setting to manual and kiting him around to avoid the notes?

Or am I supposed to be running the LEM on the tank as well as the rest of the group?

Also if im running a bard with RG Merc is the LEM going to work on him or should I be doing something to manipulate it?

Tried running the LEM on the tank as well as the rest of the group members and made it worse for some reason. Tank just kept ping ponging off and on Shao. Everything up to that stage runs wonderfully for me.

Assuming your toons are running away properly, just stand and smash Shalo in place. You may need to /mqp your bard to run, not sure. I’ve always had to run mine away manually (I am using Kiss).

When running the LEM on all toons except the tank I stood there and they were running away, but still seemed to take the massive hits of splash damage. When running on all toons including the tank the tank kept ping ponging like he wanted to run away but immediately turned and dashed back to Shao resulting in him taking dieing real fast. Im guessing he was running as a result of the LEM but the Hunter Tank mode it set him to made him want to dash back right away.

I deleted the LEM event and imported again the one that's listed here in the instructions tab, but just doesn't seem to be acting correctly.
 
Ran this twice, got a win first time. Second time a win and got Cracked. Going to keep trying for Soundproof. I don't do anything special, but Soundproof seems to be a problem for my group. SHD/SHM/ENC/MAG/NEC/DRU

I have not won this one yet, got close, but still trying to figure out if just fluke/funky stuff (like getting stuck by webs or not attacking the slime add or some reason) or I have not done some setup properly. I believe I have enough DPS and and such, the other mission gives me no problem. But I do have lootly turned off (so I can hand out loot). Do I need it on for the items the mission drops? Upon mission start the tank gets something, and upon each mini boss it drops a clicky item, do I need to have those go one to a character? Is the LEM clicking those or do I even need to worry about them? Thanks for any feedback.

The other mission FF is preschool and HaF is primetime in comparison, as in, there is no comparison..

I auto-inv the item on all toons on start, it is not to be used, unless you are going to loot items and pass them around and click on them to not get the achievement.

Really only 2 parts for automation..

the eggs (need 2 bad arse pets, or 3 wimpy pets, or maybe 1 mage pet (all with weps) and the runaway from the notes..
the AE from Shalowain is pretty much zone wide (1000) which is why people get rocked hanging out at the top of the path to avoid the notes.

The breather round is the spider, where you can fail the eggs, and just kill widowmakers and then kill the spider, before the Lich shows up, the Lich can be beat down and you can avoid a mummy, but it is not imperative, what is, is making sure if you have a mummy, you only have that one. When it comes to Lich I usually do a partial burn on the tank and use intensity of the resolute on everyone. THE second the Lich dies, I run over to Shalo and agro. I wait til the first couple get called and then whoever is nearby we start the full burn. If you have a mummy you can Glyph your way to living or success.

Chasing after the Lich is not as bad as the people say and not as easy as others say...

There is a LEM and it is primarily for running away when you Shalo does their thing.. it should be run on everyone but the tank.. at least that is how it works for me.

The good news is your toons can be dead and not even in the zone and still get the achievements.. but not from TA, or at least TA doesn't do nothing for me.

I have had such bad luck the everyone dies from AE and not timely healing, and the tank is still there beating on Shalo, I run the healer all the way from POK, and still win.

I move my tank to a "open" area, by the sides or where the slime was.. and when they get the emote I check on the toons to make sure they are not stuck somewhere and help them out.

Just did it again, 1 death, because of AE (Range is 700 for AE or so it says) in no man's land..

Just a break down of the combos I have done:

SK, SHM, BER, BER, BRD, BST - Cake
SK, SHM, MNK, BER, BRD, BST - Cake
SK, SHM, WAR, BER, BRD, BST - Cake
SK, SHM, BER, BER, ENC, BST - Roughest
SK, SHM, BER, ROG, BRD, MAG - Mostly Cake
SK, SHM, BER, WIZ, BRD, BST - Extreme Cake - Not even close to seeing a mummy.
SK, CLR, BER, ROG, BRD, BST - Bothed, got a mummy, WIN!
SK, CLR, BER, RNG, BRD, BST - Mostly Cake - 2 pet classes with weapons, good enuff! WIN!
SK, PAL, BER, SHM, BRD, BST - One step below Extreme Cake - but Shalo was on a ledge and tank didn't get agro, so I ate the note, WIN!
SK, DRU, BER, SHM, BRD, BST - Tasty Cake, Way easier than I thought...

To Do:

(WIP) SK, BER, BER, SHM, BRD, NEC - botched cuz I ran a healer and they got popped 2 out of 3..

I assure you, I am nothing special, group gear, RK2 spells, mix of T2 - T3

When I get the Lich I click a bunch of blast em buttons on my SK to get em primed.. and Intensity of Resolute on eerybody!

I have everyone on chase, tank on mode 0 through Lich.

Right as Lich dies, I have a key that changes everyone to mode 3, nav’s the tank to shalowein, activates hates attraction and then runs to the open are just north of the forge.

If I time it right, tank doesn’t get called and the lem runs called toons away. If I time it wrong and tank gets called I eat one AE. Then it’s just a matter of usually burning shalowein down before the next notes/call.
 
Amazing LEM. Thank you for putting in the work. I downloaded it and tried it for the first time tonight 1/13. I just wanted to do/finish the mission on the crew and get the whistle & Falcon (have already finished Partisan). Fired it up in the LS zone. Worked flawlessly. Amazing. I just sat back and watched...and opened the chest at the end. No deaths. No issues. THANK YOU!!!!! Much appreciated. Let me add - SK, Shaman, Cleric, Rogue, Zerker all running CWTN plugins and Bard running KissAssist all 125 toons. SK and Cleric NOS Raid geared 100%, others are COV and TOL raid geared. I read all of the previous comments/threads. Used SHM Levitate on group before I fired it up to make sure it was running. Did NOT use Shrink. Let the LEM load up evering, request the Mission, etc. Frigging amazing!

You can ignore the item you get at the start as we auto-inventory it. If you do the way the event is designed, each mini you kill drops an item, The item the tank gets is used with the dropped item. They then need to pass it to another person to use with the next drop, to then pass it to a third person to do the same. In doing so it reduces the AoE damage on Shalawain. Honestly, if you have everything set up right and you don't have really bad luck, this shouldn't be an issue which is why we ignore it.

So I think the main problem was my bard. I use the kiss file from Sic to run him and I know jack shit about running a bard.

Seems like the issue was the KS script was gluing the bard to the SK tank and the time I won the bard wasn't chosen for a note.

Swapped bard out for a second mage running cwtn plug-in and we won again. Still when my enc was picked, they ran away but they stopped and the note caught them and the died. They ran from the forge to the middle of the left building and just stopped. I will try the bard again but actually drive them myself as the overhase makes it so much faster.

Wanted to give some thanks. Late last night I tried the mission again with Intensity hotkey ready for Shalowain, and I won finally. That was the main thing I think. I may have had some luck in that I did not have that odd bug where some characters don;t attack every mob. I tried, died and left the instance/quest. Started another immediately and won. Thanks for reminding me about Intensity. (I actually messed up my hotkey and only the tank used it..blah)

Even though I run the mission by hand & hotkey, I do use the run away lem for this. It just works the best of the ones I've used.

Can you post your hotkey setup for your tank?

Everyone but Tank should be on Chase Mode already. I'm not sure why you would want to go to Manuel Mode as a person's reaction to liches new location will be far slower then Hunters Mode with Lua. If you were one of the people saying that had an issue with Hunter Mode attacking Shalowain, perhaps keep your ignore window on CWTN plugin up and ensure Shalowain is on ignore until Lich dies. If he is not, report it here so I can look into it and make a "/### ignore Shalowain" and a "/### unignore Shalowain" hotkey (### being replaced by class short name)

Be careful doing this. The emote for the two people comes out FAST after lich dies. Changing to Vorpral Mode if the person could cause said player to charge back at the boss causing notes to come back to the group. LEM changes the two emoted people to Manuel for this reason before putting Chase back on when it's done.
