Question - Help with general chat

For a few years now I lose general chat a few minutes after zoning. If I zone again I get it back for a few minutes before I get the universal chat service is unavailable msg. I tested it though and I can still talk to general I just cant see it. I am sure its a mq2 problem, tested with both redguides and mmobugs. With no mq2 loaded I don't get kicked out at all. Is there a plugin or something I need to load or unload to stop this? Happens on all my accounts.

That's pretty weird.

I can't think of anything mq related to cause that.

Getting the universal chat unavailable message makes me think it is a routing problem between you and the chat server - are you using a VPN on anything else that may shape/qol or otherwise ?

No nothing, it was happening in New York and now in the Philippines, same thing. Different computer, I had a pc now a laptop.

There have been issues with the universal chat service for years in the game. It comes and goes. I think it is more likely the game

@dobey1 Do you have Logs on?
If so, how large are you letting your logs getting before deleting / archiving them for EQ to make new ones?
Just a thought on my part thinking that Logs might have this effect.
