Hello
I am working on my VP key quests and ran in to the last 2 group tasks that seam tuff to do with a boxed group (End of Empire and Balance of Power) . My Question is has anyone got any pointers that can help me out with this thanks for the help :)

RoS mission guides or strats here:

Fell Foilage is a DPS race and is much easier if you can bring caster DPS (big damage shield on boss.)

End of Empire is a "how well can you really control your box-team" test. Mainly a balance-kill the various waves, with a mini-burn on lifestealers and a full Burn on soulfeasters. Above all else, you have to make each wave of mobs all die at about the same time, as the first mob of any given wave to die will trigger the next wave to go active. (First wave lets you kill two mobs before 2nd wave spawns though.) Has some random annoying stuff like eating two meteors on group before clicky-shield looted from first wave is off cooldown or chokidai memblurring the named onto your healer. So even when you have it all down, will still be some surprises.

Balance of Power is a bunch of named in sequence with the tough challenge being having enough Burn/Defense/Healing to plow through the portal killing phase of boss #4.

Wow Thanks for the info /bow
Any clue how to make a hotkey to switch targets ones I get it going to kissassist it is very hard to pull it off a mob
thanks

If you're running EQBC, this hotkey from whoever you're playing or is the KA "assist" will swap all other KA DPS to the new target:
Code:
/bca //switchnow

If you're playing your tank, then you probably want to use MQ pause feature or KA manual-mode. When you have a lot of target swaps, like trying to balance all the mobs in End of Empire, KA will fight to pick it's own priority targets.

Pause macro (toggles):
Code:
/mqp

Start KA in manual control mode:
Code:
/mac kissassist manual

This thread has some other tips and settings.

wow again thanks man !
one more Question if I pull 2 and taget 1 I am attacking so I /pause on tank ,then target mob 2 and use hot key to switch targets group switches and then I unpause tank and he goes back to mob 1 but group stays on mob 2 . I am sure I am missing something easy lol
thanks

Yeah that's the tank's targeting logic. Try KA's manual mode, it disables quite a few sections of the KA ini including DPS, so you can select any target anytime. One exception, even in manual, if the tank sees a Named, it will try to swap and lock-on. /mqp shuts KA off, so it is best way if you're doing something where you don't want to kill the named first for some reason (like End of Empire mission.)

If you want to use /mqp, then you just don't un-pause until you're ready to let KA's auto-target selection take over again. In End of Empire, I /mqp on my SK as soon as the event starts and leave it off for all waves until both Soulfeaster's are dead. Then I hit /mqp again to toggle KA to take over tanking and grab the Named.

Personally, I bound a /mqp hotkey to my 3 key on all my KA toons. So if KA does something I don't like, I can shut it down and turn it back on once I'm ready. I press it a ton on my tank since that's who I'm usually playing, but I find it useful on all my toons.

You can also do "/mqp on" or "/mqp off" if you don't want it to toggle. I use those for stuff like moving my whole group with zero-chance of a toon deciding it needs to stop & cast something.

Some other useful hotkeys in microscope's newbie post and hotkey post.
