Problem - Having challenges, help would be appreciated.

As you can see in the header I had to spell out the word two because since loading the program I am loosing keyboard functionality.
Yesterday I couldn't use the N, or the M, letters. now today I can.
When I try to use the number two it switches from one screen to another.
Also in game functionally is lacking in that I can't get the group to fight together and haven't been able to really find a tutorial that helps.
The follow me button is cool though.

Hi Cue, sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting setup. But, sounds like you got a setting in your Macroquest.ini that may be set to cycle windows using a hotkey of "2" perhaps.
INI: 
# setting CycleNextWindow=0 disables it.
CycleNextWindow=0

Something like this, where instead of "0" it's "2".

If you use MQ2Autologin you could also right click the MQ2 icon in the tray, and check that you don't have something setup as a hotkey for one of the logins.

Where in the picture "Hot Key" would be the key to use to go to that specific window. I don't personally use either of those features but they are the ones that come to mind.
 
Keep in mind that changing something in your Macroquest2.ini would require you /unload on all characters and then right click the tray icon and select "Reload MQ2" as somethings don't have ingame options to change them on the fly.
 
There are a lot of Fanboys here...but we are not going to give disparaging comments because I think we can all relate - Sometimes it can be like Herding Cats, and sometimes a lot of different plugins will do stuff that you dont want it to do.

What you will find is a LOT of people willing to assist getting things up and running.
CWTN has probably hit the nail on the head with his Autologin

My own preference is to unload Autologin. I use ISBOXER to handle windows layouts and Multiple EQ clinet.ini files, and Windows Swapping hotkeys, general broadcasting etc.

To unload a Plugin you can just type something like /plugin mq2Autologin and in the chat window you will see a message saying MQ2Autologin Loaded or MQ2Autologin Unloaded

Logging in all toons at once and grouping is a nice feature - but start small.

I see you do simple stuff like using Follow me, or Come to me. Thats a good start.
Once you get your Keyboard functionality back - you should take your group to a Easy zone for your Level and practice the Automation side of things.

You NEED to unsderstand the concept of a camp, and chase, and a Pause hotkey. /boxr pause and /boxr unpause is life changing. Once you master it, you will hardly ever use follow me - because your toons will just be chasing your Main, and ready to react to whatever happens. If you get agro and toons are on Follow...they will stay following you and shit will get weird. They cant fight and follow at the same time without gettting some conflict.

Get the Basics down first. Then have a play with things like Autologin and autogroup.

For all the Fanboys out there I'm not looking for a fight, just some help. If you can't keep your comments positive and helpful just keep them to yourself.

A stuck key or a weak keyboard battery could cause some of the keyboard related issues. Turn the computer off. Turn the keyboard upside down and play the drums on the back side (to shake out the crumbs!). Turn keyboard back up and take a clean, soft-bristled brush and scrub it down (dry only!). Replace the battery (if it's a wireless keyboard). Start the computer and try again!
 
As pointed out, *we* for the most part are fan boys of this program. Also as pointed out, people here love to help, some i might say even more then playing EQ. Ask questions away, jump in the discord, start small.. Even after a year on this site i constantly learn news things, and need help.

VV works so you have something going on that is specific to you. Knowing and accepting that is a first and major step to getting things working. If something isn't working for you what are you doing wrong should be your question, not what is wrong with MQ2. VV isn't perfect but if your keyboard is acting up it is either some setting you have modified or it is a coincidence. Calling people here that can help you "fanboys" is not a great way to ask for help. "Proficient" would be a better way to say it.

Thanks :) I guess I'm just used to some of the responses I get on some other boards.

Sorry didn't mean to offend. Most Fan boys I've encountered have been rude and obnoxious. If the fan boys in here are not that way then awesome! I'm sure I will become a big fan of this program once I get the hang of it. Cheers!
 
I figured some things out with all of yoour help and even met someone online that is helping me! Thank you all again. I am already falling in love with this!

I edited the name of your post for you. coming out swinging is a great way to not get help =p but we have a great community and many have run into computer issues, or account issues, or mq issues over their time around - so lots of us are keen to "ah, dude's just having a bad time and needs some help".
