Hello

I have always used a mage Call of the Hero or /follow command to toons around. Is there a command I can use or a one button hotkey I can create in the INI file so all group members follows the Main tank ?

any suggestions or help would be appreciated, thanks

Well, /follow is still potentially an option. If you use EQBC or Dannet, you can tell everyone to follow at the same time. Can even make a single button macro.

I think what you are looking for is ChaseAssist. I know KissAssist and MuleAssist both support chasing, I don't know on other the other flavors (they probably support Chase or something similiar).
When in ChaseAssist, characters stick to the main assist. Be aware, they won't return to camp.

You've got two easy options that are added using the mq2targetinfo or mq2groupinfo plugins which may be autoloaded or not, it will be obvious if you can see the buttons I'm about to talk about.

Come to me - you hit this and it uses mq2nav to run your group to you individually. You can basically be anywhere in the zone and when you press this button, your characters will find a path and run to you through corridors and rooms, really powerful.

The second button is Follow Me which uses /afollow spawn ${Me.ID} in the mq2moveutils plugin, it's a fancy version of follow that deals better with lag spikes and I *think* your toons will follow the exact path that you run rather than just moving in your general direction.

If you're using KissAssist/RGmercs there are features built in to follow a toon once it moves beyond a certain range. For KA type /chaseon and RGmercs it's /rg chaseon

If you are using kissassist, muleassist, RGMercs or class plugins, i suggest you to use the chase option.
All of these handle chase. Only the way to activate it is different.

For RGMercs: /rg chaseon and /rg chaseoff

For kiss and mule: /chaseon and /chaseoff

For Class plugin: /${Me.Class.ShortName} mode 2 and /${Me.Class.ShortName} mode 0

That's the commands for each toon. You can also trigger that using eqbc or dannet.

You should look at that threads Sic made for hotkeys >> Click Here <<

And this video to move your toons around >> Click Here <<

Thank you for the information guys. This will help a lot.

Just one other thing , can I still get stuck while using the recommended above ? Or is there a way around that as well ?

Thing you might consider is to make a hotkey that ends the chaseon for the group. So if one of your group gets stuck just hit the chaseoff key and then reposition the stuck character.
or have group pause hotkey and use that to fix someone stuck. Just remember that before you zone make sure everyone is together so (worst thing to happen is your driver zones and the other are stuck in the other zone trying to zone. (I do a headcount just before I zone)

Yes you can still get stuck. If it happens, i suggest you to edit your mesh and modify so you won't get stuck next time.
