I've always ran mage/shaman/pally build with dps/dps/healer mercs but looking at expanding my group in preps for new expansion and to expand options of what I can farm. I found a lvl 86 bard on an old account and was looking at starting 2 new account. That being said, what would you suggest adding to my box group that would open farming options and no die lol.

Mage
Pally
Shm
Bard
?
?

In my opinion I would add CLERIC for the added heals buffs and Auras.

and then go with another MAGE for the added DPS, Pet Tank backup

Your Shammy and Pally can heal just fine so I wouldn't add another healer. I'd go Zerk, Zerk.

In my opinion you have many options. Paly / Sham / Bard should be your main stay and since you will be leveling some from start you can Mage (x3) or Zerk (x2) with a Beast. Anyway you make it, have fun and enjoy yourself.

Thanks for the input, I ended up rolling paly/shm/mage/bst/zerk/bard :) Excited to get started!

I would have chosen mage + nec. I don't like corpse-runs. For areas where mezz doesn't work, sufficient real pets can ot anything over pulled. In a bad case, nec can battlerezz, in the worst case fd+recover.
On the other hand yor choosen setup has the potential to deal out more dps.

So my group is 115mage, 115shaman, 115pally mostly group/chase gear, some raid pieces from ToV with mostly max aa's. My new heroic characters 86bard/85zerk/85bst. Where would you recommend a safer camp location where I can park the group and grind out levels and aa's. Preferable somewhere easy to get in case I wipe lol. Asking because over the last 5ish expansions I only really played during ToV so some places still haven't been explored by myself.

I talked to a friend and she gave me some good tips! Pretty excited to get back into the grind and see my group come together.

I'm a bit late for an addition here, but I would second the suggestion for 2 zerkers.

I have broadcast keys for each zerker to activate burns, so if I have a large pull I can pop sk cooldowns, hit these keys and watch things melt. With my bard AE mezz I don't even care for my pull size anymore, sk epic, visage of death, carapace, explosion AE aggroe then zerker burns I've killed an 8 pull in around 30 seconds at 85. This is also with a shaman healer
