Tip - Good spot to faction for Anguish BP?

I have a new tank and would like to get him the Anguish BP, but the faction is a nightmare. Is there a good spot with a high density of mobs where I can run a kill all macro?

I ran pocketfarm.mac in nobles causeway or wall of slaughter.

It does seem like it will take forever, but I remember mine taking only about 12 hours, I think.

Just wipe out the entire zone. Took me less than 2 hours on the most recent double faction event

I did all of mine in the blood fields I think. I just loaded the plugin mq2farmtest and let it run

i did anguish and noblescauseway and you can buy a double faction potion from daybreak too. took me about 4 hours

its been a few years.. quite a few.. pretty sure we used to faction in Nobles Causeway.. or MPG.. just set and roam.

I did Nobles causeway. I bought a faction Potion from DBG and wen to town. Don't need to kill Murkgliders as they give no faction. I basically stayed on the upper paths and ran around kill everything I Could for 4 hours or was it two? However long the action potion lasted.

I did most of mine through many anguish runs on raid lol, bit we did a lot of RSS farming. Pretty good mob density but idk if it's the best for faction or not. The outdoor zones(like NC moreso than wos due to density) are good for just pulling the whole zone at once. No need for a macro and waiting hours. Slaughter the whole zone, move to the next and repeat. Should be done in half an hour with a potion. Unless you somehow run across someone doing their epic(and maybe you can team up if that's the case for faction and speed...they can get their orb and you mail the trash etc in anguish). It's not like faction gets shared like loot and xp, so the more the merrier.

Wos is better in the north or the SW for density, se is kinda sparse due to raidmob. Rcod is decent too I think for swarm pulling.

This is how I do it also. Fastest way for sure.

I did this as well.. Theres a room with like 20+ dragorns that give + faction hits for it.. but I found the fastest is to just clear each area, just making circular swipes.. it takes quite alot of kills to max out ally for the bp...

Do you know the name of the mob? I dont remember any that summoned dogs. Im trying to get the BP too. Do you mean Keldovan the Harrier?

Thanks for the tip. I banged out the faction in one night. I had done about 6 runs of the entire anguish and I was still Apprehensive. About 3 hours of killing dogs and I was ally. In fact, I maxed it out before I realized I was ally.

I found that I needed to do it with only my war and cleric. Other bots got in the way. Next is my SK I guess.

How did I NOT know this?? LOL! I still have the stupid BP piece rotting away on my SK because I gave up. Going to try this out. Thanks for the tip

at the very end, pick one of OOMs guards.
kill it and only it, ignoring OOM, he will continually run to attack then leash
guard respawn in only a couple seconds when OOM leashes at the exact same spot
1 faction hit per kill
go get a beer, or 2.
get new shiny BP.

Load up on DS and and pull trains in NC or what ever the first zone in from PoK is. Pull all the ukunks / nocs / etc that are faction givers at the castle area. Then I’ll up top and do the same. Wait a moment and rinse and repeat.

Thanks Expes007 - This is what I did, its super fast faction took the whole raid to overlord, and pick one of the 2 guards at the end and stand there at its spawn point and kill them over and over, one spawns almost instantly when one dies boss stays in the middle and wont die. Much faster/easier than all other mentioned ways.

What a wonderful piece of information.
My Sk and my brd are complaining since years, that I am to lazy to do the endless grind in order to get them bp and 2.0. I have almost been traumatized by the endless grind to get the faction for my little mage and could not find the motivation to do the grind a third time.
This information gave my toons a chance to be get their updates.

Best and easy way to do this is this:

Have two teleporters , bind one in the blood field tunnels and one in Ruined city of dranik. Use the Teleport bind ability and keep cycling killing mobs after clearing. If you don't have a extra teleporter go to general chat and pay someone to teleport you when needed
