You have to be in gnoll shroud form. Can be any character level. I did level 5 and then went to a newbie yard. Any starting city will do. Then I just used PocketFarm macro and let it do it's thing while I watched netflix for many hours. The problem with shrouds is that the power curve relative to the level of mobs you're fighting gets progressively worse the higher level you go. So a shroud at level 70 will be very underpowered compared to regular PC at level 70. For that reason, I think lower is better as you'll be able to easily solo mobs at those levels.
You can also get some Oil of Fenin Ro and power level the shrouded toon/toons by pulling huge trains on a high level toon with a non damaged item in primary, use the oil from the shrouded toon, then turn on DS on high level toon and watch them drop.
OH this is a super hidden trick for shrouds.
Get the Jann's veil, then an illusion that is clickable at level 1. Then click the key ring illusion to get a 3khp buff at level 5. with a 1k proc. you can max out your shroud in a few hours.

This didnt work for me, clicked the lvl1 illu but no buff from the Janns Veil(stat illusion)

Make sure you have the Jann’s veil in the stat location and click the item from the key ring. Just did it again to verify.
what illusion item did you try with? I used the Visage of the Daft Trickster after I transformed to a lvl 5 berserker gnoll.
Didn't this get nerfed it was that just in missions ?
Well getting TBL done in a day probably isn't probable.
I bought a lot of Oil of Fennin Ro, trying to PL in Kurns with a DS. Not working great. I do not have AE taunt. Mobs not sticking to high level puller, and some are not even agroing. Range on oil is 20 and is very slow to cast.

pre-soft cap AC, yes. The character sheet displays AC after the effects of soft cap, so you will not see an increase of 545 points in the game display.Wow the AA says I am getting 545 AC!

From what I'm reading, the gnoll dude is there all the time. (the shroud guy not the quest itself). So as long as you get your totem, you can level it whenever.

Does anyone have a trick for getting MQ2Berzerker to work with this shroud? I used MQ2Berzerker last year to evolve this totem on my old crew, worked flawlessly, just does not seem to work on this shroud now...
yes, we don't want the plugins doing shroud stuff as the abilities aren't the same - mq2berzerker is no longer going to do shroud stuff
Field of bone spider caves, mq2farmtest, and Jann veil, with the level 5 shroud... wow! Not sure why I didn't do this sooner. Thanks @burdsjm
I did mine during the anniversary, when Crescent Reach was overflowing with bunnies. I shrouded down to level 5 and used the farm macro to kill bunnies there. There were so many bunnies, and they respawn in like 45 seconds, it was just a day or two of afk farming to max the shroud. Probably wont be as useful outside of anniversary since there are much fewer mobs, but this did the trick for me.
