vsab submitted a new resource:

Ghetto Magelo - Because the real thing is too expensive when you have 36 toons

Dumps information about a toon into an ini file. I do this to keep track of where I need to get better gear, more AA etc etc.

It expects there to be a "Reports" directory inside the directory you run the mac in.

Example output:-

Code:
[Summary]
Stats=<CHARACTERNAME> -(Gnome Shadow Knight): Lvl 105 (99.14 %)  7468 AA 85 unspent AA. HP 144591  AC 4492/2276 (Mitigation/Evasion) Mana 112365
Current Zone=<CURRENT ZONE>

[Currency]
Cash=1202831pp 6091g 5239s
Marks of...

I use VSCode to open the resulting file- which means the item links are clickable (ctrl+click).

I've only included currencies *I'm* interested in. I might expand it to more/all currencies.

AAToBuy= the last number shown is the AA Tab number, this is helpful when using MQ2AASpend.

Deff. going to check this out when I get home. 18 toons to manage is rough. Thanks Vsab

I get an error when running this but it still does it's job.
Code:
magelo.mac@69(DumpSummary(MageloIniFile)) /dgt all $(SummaryLine)
magelo.mac@34 (ReportStat): /call DumpSummary $(MageloIniFile)
magelo.mac@14(Main()): /call ReportStat

I have recently become a fan of "Multi Character Inventory Manager" -- eqresource guy makes it

vsab updated Ghetto Magelo with a new update entry:

Ghetto Magelo v1.3

| v.1.3
| - Split into an include and a mac. You can add the include to KA, IHCMercs etc if you want to. (I call the Event_ReportStats function whenever KA starts up).
| - Added tradeskills as we need them in lots of bloody quests these days ffs
| - Checks for MQ2Dannet before issuing a /dgt all. If not present, it will check for MQ2EQBC and use /bca instead.
| - You can /echo [MQ2] ReportStat and that will trigger this funcationality if you include the include file in a different mac to...

Should be fixed in 1.3. I hadn't checked if mq2dannet was running or not before trying to broadcast the info.

Yeah, sadly it's Windows software and I only run Windows at home for EQ. I use these files for everything else (laptops etc), just in a text editor. Also helps me remember where I logged each toon out, since I have a "camp all toons" macro that also calls this.

Eek. I forgot about Magelo pricing. I'm an Advisor so I get an unlimited number of accounts for free forever. =P

Great idea on pulling down the stats. I valued the output of items from my characters for a very long time.
