Guide - Get to the Beach Powerleveling 75-100

Next best thing to a rogue is a bard with a invis to undead clicky.

1. Click the IVU clicky to begin casting.
2. While that's still casting, hit your fading memories AA
3. You now have permanent regular invis (until you zone) and a duration IVU on you.

Named that see invis and other mobs that see through invis will still agro, but it saves you from swapping invis types and from using multiple characters to get both invises on.

after talking to incognito, we figured out i didn't change my enchanters ini to i higher mez range after i got his 87 mez, so really just bad on me, and that mob never showed up until i was un-invised and in the middle of buffing. Either way though, pure carelessness on my part, and lesson learned

One great example of an instance where using eqmule's .ini update macro would have been super helpful!

What level can this place be done with a full group? 90s? or higher? I'm looking to do it with my new crew, instead of using my 105 to pl half of the team at a time.

with CC, 87 chanter would be needed, and outside of that requirement could do the beach easy. If the beach area is empty you might be able to find an area that singles could be pulled but pathing is fun there to say the least, so i would try to bring a mezzer to help.

the group could be as low as 80 to 85 just remember that the mobs will assist more the lower your lvl is. but a grp able to do grounds could do the beach area.

Enchanter mobs mez the tank like crazy and evidently his TBM OP tank gear isn't enough to handle a pull long enough for the CC to take care of adds. Don't know if I am doing something wrong or it was failed to mention somewhere that a 92 pally was not meant to tank here. Figured I would let others know.

95 Pally with TBM vender gear can tank this. Seems to resist the mez often enough, and can tank those 3+ pulls long enough for chanter to mez.

This place is good, but I'm dying every couple of hours from what appears to be my tank getting mez'd and my cleric not curing it, and the mobs then killing the rest of the group (I believe the mobs that mez can't be mez'd themselves).

I have copied below my Cleric's .ini if anyone can spot why my Cleric wouldn't be curing the mez, thanks:

Today I took a 105 sk and 105 ranger to pl my war/clr/enc. All of the mobs in this spot are Humanoid which means a ranger can headshot. The ranger was getting an absurd amount of Headshots in this spot and makes for super easy kills. If a headshot doesnt kill the mob in 1 shot, your dichotomic will.

I'm not P&L'ing as such, but running my own group of 6 - Pal/Cleric/Enc/Mage/Wiz/Druid - all level 95

Is there a way to set the mage pet up as a back-up tank rather than just running the mage as a DPS/Assist? Apologies for the dumb question - I'm new with KissAssist

Can this be done in any corner or just the one corner you have on map?

I've only experienced the South East corner, but there's a ramp into the castle that you can catch the wall on and endlessly try to return to camp. And die once respawns start pounding on your puller.

Would a 105 Zerker/Necro+cleric merc be able to handle this spot? Their gear and AAs are nothing too special, some EOK t1 but mostly mid 90s gear and autogranted AAs.

This is definitely a nice out of the way spot, but my results are considerably slower than some others posted. Whether thats just do to time and exp stagnation in these zones, I don't know. I took my 105 Paladin, 94 druid, 95 bard, and 85 cleric there recently. It took a full 24 hours almost for my cleric to go from 85 to 91. No lesson, exp pots, or fellowship sharing though, just raw exp. For comparison, my bard went from 94.3 to 96.4 in that time. My paladin can keep everything in the camp radius clear and still have some time to wait on respawns, so I don't think I could be doing much different.

On the whole, excellent guide and spot to get new characters into the low 90s. I'm going to start looking for a new spot now though to try and get my f2p chars up to 100.

This camp is mostly for AFK set and forget. Come back after an evening or after a day of work. Not the best xp once getting close to 100 but better then nothing. I was getting more exp doing DH HA missions then anything else, at lvl 90 i was getting 20% exp per completion, and tapers off to 8% at 104

I keep getting the error that MQ2NAV could not locate the starting point. I assume this is a problem with my mesh?

Sometimes moving your group and/or puller starting location fixes that issue.

Ive tried several camps/spots in the zone with no luck. Im still new and learning how to use it though. Im sure there is some operator error to blame here :xd:. Line of sight pulling works for the time being.

Then I'd ditch the mesh and try to remake it with different settings. Also, be careful if you're modifying the x,y,z axis stuff too much. Sometimes you can accidentally cut off areas of the zone you actually need.

Ooooooo I didnt even know you could do that. Will check it out! Thanks alot pal.
