Question - Game parsers....

I'm in dire need of any kind of melee and spell dps parser..

I know gamparse isnt workin atm. Are there others usable?

MQ2DPS not up to date any more?

There is a log parser some guy on FV is currently making named Kazint. He's the same guy who runs the Wizard DPS website that I am forgetting the name of right now - but it's a website that checks DPS of certain wiz rotations.

As far as I know, Kazint hasn't released his parser to the public since it is still in beta - but a few people I know on FV are currently using it until Gamparse is updated... You may be able to ask around for it if you play on that server. I have a copy of it on my computer but I have no idea how to provide a link to it or upload it onto the forums. And, again, it's still in beta so while it's not as inaccurate as Gamparse is, it's also not as accurate as you want a parser to be. It's more accurate than whatever parser Kiss uses though.

I am impatiently waiting for Gamparse too, It's holding me up since I wanna do DPS comparisons and change my spell rotations around a bit now that I am doing more than just lazily botting and actually starting to play the game again.

MQ2DPSAdv is broken too. Doesn't parse spell dmg since the damage txt changes awhile back. I don't think it will be fixed, no longer updated.

Mq2damageparser works 100%. Use kissassist104e15 to see it parse each fight for you. It will never ever break either because it doesn’t read the log or any kind of text. It reads damage from the function that parses damage directly. Like a real parser should.

You keep using that word, parse. I do not think it means what you think it means. ;-)

Is there a guide somewhere for MQ2DamageParser?

Will it work with regular KA and KA11?

In my experience the damage parser with Kissassist is so radically inaccurate I don't even see a point to it being there. It's more broken than Gamparse is right now - which is saying something!

I've attached a comparison screen shot between what Kissassist shows and what Kazint's spell parser shows on my Beastlord. Kissassist shows 1k dps (which is like an auto attack) but Kazint's shows the whole picture, about 60k dps for the short fight.

If anyone wants me to send them this log parser shoot me a PM on the forums, I can email you the install file or send it to you on skype since I don't know how to post it/share it on these forums. I'm not going to have the time to help you with the install though.

In my experience in the short time using it, the log parser is fairly accurate... it seems to be a little bit laggier than Gamparse for me which is unfortunate but that's about all I notice as a difference. It's definitely a whole hell of a lot more accurate than anything else is atm.

MQ2DamageParser is not the same as the damage parser in KA 10 or 11 so I'm not sure what the above post is referencing regarding KA. Unless you're talking about Mule's KA which doesn't seem like is the case.

Maybe just letting people know about Kazints?

Works fine for what i need atm, Cheers :)
