Guide - Fohpo's CoV Non-Prestige Gearing Guide

Much like my previous ToV Quick Camp Reference, this guide is going to be a work in progress and largely based on anecdotal/personal experience. The general theory behind this is to gear for F2P and Silver characters as efficiently as possible while still attempting to prioritize larger upgrades first. Over time, I'll be adding screenshots and camp suggestions, heavily relying on EQResource and Raidloot to make selections. Below is the order I would tend to prioritize for my groups, I also prefer to run 2h on my BST and healers.

The general flow: weapons -> pet focus -> belts prioritized (as you are acquiring these, you will begin to fill in vis armor and off pieces)

Weapons: SHD/PAL - Warlus Bone Bludgeon, Pikebreath in Cobalt Scar Sandy Armored Shell, Sholskin in Cobalt Scar (OPTIONAL 2H) Twinkling Gelid Falchetta, Feltinth in Western Wastes ZRK - Hardened Hardwood Lance, Morwenna in Cobalt Scar BST - Barnacled Driftwood Staff, Bliddle in Western Wastes Casters (MAG, ENC, WIZ) - Rod of Desire, Desirae in Cobalt Scar BRD - Ensorcelled Steel Dirk, Blasphemous Steel in Western Wastes Frozen Dragon Fire Blade, Pastletlith in Western Wastes Healer - Driftwood Mallet of Hammering, Sholskin in Cobalt Scar Belts: Tank - Urchin Spine Girdle, Pikebreath in Cobalt Scar Melee - Seaworthy Belt of All Stars, Desirae in Cobalt Scar Casters/Healers/Rangers - Djinn Threaded Sash, Blasphemous in Western Wastes Pet Focus: Yellow Crescent of Yeouf, Octave in Cobalt Scar

Personal goal for the weekend is to update non-prestige and thinking of the following:

1. Efficient prioritization of non-vis, targeting bosses with multiple pieces
2. Starting to look at expanding the guide, including T2 zones
3. Not sure if I want to try and include XP camps again, I have a feeling they haven’t changed
4. Won’t be including tradeskill stuff, changes to the drop rates seem to make that a moot point
