Not sure if this is known or not. I didn't see it anywhere. The basis for it may be exploitable elsewhere for greater effect. Any ideas?

TL;DR - you can use level 75s to flag 105s for TBM. 105s receive full Remnant of Tranquility rewards even though the whole instance was completed @ level 75 (or whatever).

I saw someone mention in another post about how flagging toons for TBM is a pain. I recently wanted to flag a heroic that was PLed to 105 but didn't have gear yet. This got him flagged so I could gear him in TBM from naked (well, from level 85 heroic gear). Thought I'd share.

There's probably also some potential here to farm extra Remnants of Tranquility.

Prerequisites: must have a team of any level that can handle Into the Temple (b).

Steps:
  1. On scrub(s) complete Into the Temple (a) & Seal of Approval
  2. Gather all toons in Sul Vius: Demiplane of Health
  3. Get shared task Into the Temple (b) & taskadd everyone
  4. Send in the team that can beat it & do the mission up until the turn in (I dropped scrubs from pt & added my mercs)
  5. Bring scrub(s) into instance for turn in with the Avatar after all other steps are complete

I don't know the limits of how many people you can taskadd. I only tried with 5 accounts. If you can taskadd more then I expect you can rotate people in for additional remnants from running the quest only once. Let me know if someone tests it out... otherwise I might try with a friend sometime this week to see if I can flag all his boxes in one go.

FYI how many remnants you receive from Into the Temple (b) scales by level. Ex: 105 = 1237, 90 = 247, 89 = 123.

If you have extra 105s and a solid team of lower level you can clear it on the lower guys then get the 1237 on each 105 by doing the taskadd etc.

It's helping me gear up guys in TBM. My most solid team isn't 105 yet & they use some mercs.

I noticed I could do this on accident doing DH HAs trying to solo level 105 HA with leeches tagging along. I kicked the 105 & completed the task on the lower level guys. Then hopped into the instance after completion and hailed the gnome to get rewards on the 105.

lol i have some lvl 75 solteris twinks this sounds like it could be fun.

a group task you can have up to 6 toons in task. This means if you are using any mercs, you can add folks to the task from the getgo, but they got to hang outside if you need the mercs.

a group task that uses an instance only allows 6 total toon+mercs in the instance. Thus if you want the additional toons in the instance with you for rewards, will need to drop the mercs just before finishing task (or the zone will drop them for you after 2 minutes)

As an example if you have say 3 accounts, you can get the task, then (moving shared task leader around to accommodate) you can log those accounts to alts and add them to the task, then log back in to actually do the task. This way you do not accidentally go past the "locked" point before adding someone. Then your 3 original plus mercs can finish out the task. Afterwards , remember to log Team2 in so accept rewards before dropping the task.

Worked a number of toons through RoF/CotF/TDS this way. Still working out how to effectively box Grummus in TBM, heh. Finally got the trigger phrase to watch for barrels, see if that helps =P

Awesome. Thanks for the additional info.

Too bad about the limit of 6 characters :/.

Does this work for group missions or only the HAs?

Anashti Sul, Damsel of Decay for instance?

Should work with both group missions and HAs.

I know at least one mission locks as soon as you get it.

I wish I had the memory to remember all this shizzle. I did precisely this the other day to beef up my warrior, using tranquilities from my main... To be able to buy armour/weapon augs from PoHealth, you only need to do the mirror quest. The items are tradable (to give to Quellious) and you can swap them out right before you do the final hail.

Duo'd it with a couple of clr mercs with my wiz tanking and a bard buddy trying to stop me from tanking. I swapped in a whole group before the end.

Now that you mention that, you're right. Is it Grummus, maybe?? I can't recall which mission, but I do remember noting that when I was looking at stuff at eqresource.

With that said, the vast majority will let you do the taskadd tomfoolery described here. Hell, back in the day this stuff plus some active MQ2 hacks were used to bypass lockouts. That isn't around anymore, though (which is good for the community).

aye a few of them lock as soon as you get them, so you will need all toons in gorup who are getting credit. Then you can sperate and pop mercs before heading into the instance

Soo, anyone done the level 75 Into the Temple B?

Curious how easy it would be for a regular defiant wearing group to finish.

Is it properly scaled, ie (no random mobs hitting like 105 mobs).?

I don't have 75s to try it on. I've run it on 1 team a couple times. Once at around 88 wearing Rustic for the tank & Heroic everywhere else. It was kind of rough because I was being lazy about pulling and kept getting pulls of 3.

I ran it again later on the same team at level 90 with no gear changes and it was a total cake walk. That time I bothered to wait for mobs to split up so I could get singles. For non-wandering mob packs I snare/FD split singles out using my SK.

I haven't run into any improperly scaled mobs so far but I've only run it twice.

EDIT: in case it helps my team is: SK, SHM, CLR + 3x DPS mercs. I don't have SHM setup to AoE slow & the mobs are harder than DH HA equivalent con mobs. I think that's why I had issues when I pulled a yellow + 2 whites or 2 yellow cons. I made it through most fights but had to use discs & such on the tank. Wiped a few times the first run.
