As a free to play/silver account which is better to play Warrior or SK ??? and if I have 3 wizzy's going crazy which is better to hold agro... I have a 105 warrior pretty much max but if SK is better I can use him and sell warrior or vice versa

I want to run 105 Bard/Warrior or SK/Wiz/Wiz/Wiz/Cleric but I kinda suck atm

I think the SK may be a little easier to macro to get and maintain agro, but the warrior tanks like a boss, too. Honestly, even when he was under-geared/under-auged, my warrior (equivalent AA's) tanked hard-hitting mobs better than my SK. SK still seems better at agro management, though, for longer group grinds.

I don't have the means to get the info needed right now, but I'll put up my warrior inis soon. Get rune procs, rune procs and rune procs for your weapons and you'll outaggro even a hard working SK with it.

From what i've seen with a nearly equivalent sk & war is that a group with an SK will kill faster than a group with a warrior but if something goes wrong the warrior will outlive an SK.

I think the key point is what kind of target you're hunting.

If you're hunting where you might get a couple mobs and need the tank to get aggro on 3, 4 or 5 mobs while bard manages what mez they can, SK would probably win.
If you're trying to go knock out hunter achievements and go after the named mobs, a warrior would probably win out.

and while not game breaking, there are several utilities that an SK has (summon corpse, feign death, self invis) that can be situationally very handy.

lastly, in certain places, pull with pet is a blessing because it gets around weird line of sight geometry in a zone.

Having said all that, I still have a hard time putting my warrior away just because I'm an absurd fan of the dual wielding tank idea. If you have an attachment to one class or the other, play it and find other tools to offset the negatives.

I run a warrior as my main but I played an SK before I switched. SK is hands down better for holding aggro for a group of mobs. The war has some AE aggro abilities but they are on longer cooldowns than the better SK ones. If you are going to keep things mezzed then it really doesn't matter tho as both can hold aggro on one mob just fine.

You will probably need to adjust some of the clickies, and some of the holyshits needs fixing, but this works really, really good for me on my raid geared tank, and does even on my 2nd warrior in mainly TBM group gear. You need however to get weapons with rune procs and augs with more rune procs for the AE aggro to work perfect. I have no problems holding aggro on 6 mobs or more even when the chanter dies for some reason (which very seldom happens). Oh, and you will also need to summon arrows manually because I'm a lazy ass and didn't bother to put that part in. :p

Thanks like I said I own both but SK is 93 and warrior is all set but want to better my group because I want to fight more then TDS

I own 15x 105 tanks... I was always told Warriors dammit! so most of them are warriors.. But recently I have been playing and watching warrior vs SK in group content and I gotta say from the start the SK is doing better by a noticeable margin, gonna try out my pally next, but the sk is a beast!

I have 8 105 warriors
I have 6 105 SKs
I have 1 105 Paladin
and I have 1 fully raid/rare/min/max geared wizard that thinks he is a tank!

If I had to play just 1 in group content, SK hands down, everytime! But that is just my opinion and I may very well be wrong....

Also the SK does way more damage so the mobs die a lot faster so more loots!

Hands down, the SK does more damage and the warrior is a better tank I think. From there it's all up to taste.

Since when did SKs become more dmg than a war? Honest question as I've been out of game for a couple years.

With a solid holy to switch from board and sword to 2hnd if your just killing trash wars do a fair amount of dps. My war holds down 60-80kdps and is over 100k pretty often.
