Alright. So. You need to get that raid instance loot, and you dont have a lot of accounts or friends? Not a problem. All you need, is access to two accounts, or to have a friend help you set up, and you can do raids, literally all day long. Without further adieu, I will list the idea, and the process.

Account 1
load into the character that will be leading the expedition.

Account 2
Load into a character that is capable of partaking in the expedition. Invite account 1 character 1 to a group.

Account 1
load 4 other characters into the game, joining account 2's group on each of them. Load the original character that will be leading the expedition.

Account 2
Make Account 1 Char 1 expedition leader. Stay logged in.

Account 1
/dzadd a few people, to make sure your DZ stays open if you crash or change characters. You do not need a full 6, but you need 2 or 3 minimum to keep the expedition from collapsing, if I remember correctly. If not, then, either way it goes, you should be able to farm the instance to your hearts content.

So, make a group of characters all on the same account, using a second account. with that full group of not-logged-in players, you can request the DZ, but, it will only add the currently logged in players at the time of requisition. You must then manually DZadd each character you wish to partake in the expedition. Remember that each expedition has it's own set of requirements, and this may not unlock every one you need... but, it works... as of today.

I have tested this in multiple raid instance zones, and it works in all of them. This also works for group tasks that have a minimum player requirement.

If you like this exploit, and wish to help a fellow gamer out, leave a red cent! Thanks in advance! Happy hunting! :toot:

So, I'm confused. This is to beat the tasktimer/expedition timer, right? You still have to figure out how to actually DO the raid in question.

I think this is just for people that don't already have 6+ accounts or a computer beefy enough to load 6+ accounts.

Good for things like anguish raid.

Okay so the point of this post is that you just need to be in a full group and regardless of if the characters are logged in, it will allow you to pop the instance? Is that correct?

I suppose this could be cool on a server like Phinny, say if you had access to 3-4 classes capable of downing named solo or duo (enc/clr or other healer.) Could pop the DZ with noob accounts without locking the others. Thing is though, will the "not logged in chars," register their group level? I think for Planes DZ you need 46+ chars?

Ah, good point. I'm thinking current raids, but yea... this is doable for Anguish and Demiplane and stuff.

This basically means, that if there are two or three people, one person can invite characters from those accounts, and log them off.

As long as the group is full, It does not matter to which accounts they belong, or whether or not they are online.

The minimum amount of players for each expedition can change. Usually, it is 2 - 3 people minimum to keep the expedition active. So, in essence, you COULD get a raid, with one character, and 5 offline people, or 5 offline characters on any number of accounts you wish, or the same account. At that point, you just have to have the minimum amount of players to keep the expedition open.

I find it best to load two accounts, invite chars from both accounts to fill the group, and log on my main to burn the expedition to the ground, leaving one other character online to keep the expedition from closing. It works quite well.

The offline chars, will not be added to the expedition. They just allow the expedition to be granted.

Only the online chars at the time of request will actually be placed into the expedition.

I hope I have cleared some things up.

This works, for Tacvi, Anguish, and just about any other instance or group task. Good luck, and have fun storming the castle! <3

This is to beat the minimum amount of players requirement. You would still have to be able to complete the raid with whatever character you entered it with. Some raids are impossible solo, as they require simultaneous events in multiple places. There are many soloable raids, however, if your character is powerful enough.

This is for anyone that cannot request a raid, for whatever reason, with what they have access to at the time. It allows multiple characters from the same account to be used in such situations as one-box restricted servers, where there might not be enough accounts invested to go around. This is for the casual farmers, and those that need to get things done without a lot of help from others.

Basically, it is just a work-around for the minimum players requirement.

You are correct!

This works on progression servers, and truebox servers as well.

So, on a truebox progression server? Only two computers in the house? No worries! Don't go out and buy an expensive desktop or laptop computer!!! You can still raid anguish yourself!!!
