Problem - Everquest says redguides is out of date (Feb 20th) but its not true (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I'm having problems getting red guides to work after the latest patch. My updater says its all updated.

So then I launch it and run the eq client (live) and then it gives me ...

I've restarted my computer (alternative to /unload in a client). I went into the local app data and deleted the red guides stuff as suggested on the forums. I uninstalled redguides and fresh installed the launcher. It was working fine prior to this patch. The web-site says Live-Test-Emu are all up and running. Can someone direct me to a solution here? It seems like a basic problem.

have you run the patcher since yesterday? they put out a mini patch tonight about persona crap that never took servers down just put out a system msg, that could be the culprit also
 
I am getting the same thing and I can't get past it. I rebooted my PC ran EQ all by it's lonesome and then logged out and ran the launcher again and it is still giving me that same date error.

Yea I can see what it's telling me. the window says MQs version is Feb 20th and EQs is Feb 22nd. However ..in my first snippet of the redguide launcher, it very clearly says the MQ version is Feb 22nd (same as eq client). Something is wrong. I'm attributing it to the mini patch people are alluding too and the solution is to hang tight and wait.

The date that MQ was built doesn't indicate the EQ patch date that MQ was built for, it is just the date when MQ was built. That could be the same day as the patch or 5 days after the patch or 10 years after the patch. RedGuides had builds today for updates to autologin, but MQ is still targeting the patch from the other day, not the hotfix patch of today.

We released an update to autologin this morning, but that was built for the EQ patch version 2024-02-20

There is now a new EQ patch version 2024-02-22.

Restarting my computer always works when I have a sync issue that I need to fix. I reboot the PC and then redo the Red Guides Launcher updates. I hope this helps if not now perhaps in the future.
 
About 6-7pm MST they Pushed a New client there was a Sever wide for it saying to log out and repatch ect. Thats where your issue lays

Still it's good general advice whether it works in this case or not. As I said and you left out.
