Hey there, I'm trying to get MQ2 running on one of the EMU servers, and i'm getting an error that EQgame or MQ2 is out of date., I am a returning player from a while ago, and wanted to get going on multiboxing some characters, so I am fairly new to this. I followed the beginners guide to downloading and installing the correct type of MQ2 (EMU server), next I ran the updater, but it is saying that "the date and time of eqgame was not what MQ expected it to be May 10 2013 23:30:08. Injection can not be completed. I have seen several posts about either needing to update your client or mq2 but I didnt see any message saying there was an update and I have searched for hours on this, so this was my last idea on what I could do to get it to work. My EQ client does work without MQ2, just not with it.

What client are you trying to use vs. what version of MQ2? My guess is that the version of MQ2 you're using doesn't match the client version you're using. The only version directly supported by Redguides is for the RoF2 client, which you can find on the website for EZ Server pretty easily. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to other versions of MQ2 for other clients here, but if you google it it's pretty easy to find.

Our EMU MQ2 ONLY WORKS WITH RoF2 client.
Are you using RoF2 to connect or a different client version like Underfoot or Titanium?
