Request - EQ 'Explore' mode on character select

Hey guys. Does anyone have pictures or videos of the old explore mode on the character select screen, or is there a way to access this on an EMU server?
Also, does anyone have info on when this was put in and then removed? I seem to remember some time after PoP it was removed.

wasn't that the old eqtutorial.exe that let you run around? and if i recall you could edit some file to load any zone hehe.

That was pretty cool and a great nostalgia hit for sure. But I think I am trying to find a different 'mode'
I remember as a rogue when I hit explore, I could control the character on the select screen and walk around and there was a rogue like 'den' that had a target dummy and a model with armor on it, a chest of gold and several other rogue like assets. I would assume each class had their own unique lil zone to explore?

Ahh I finally found what I was looking for. It was part of the 'New' loading zone, load2 in the files.
Not as glamours as I remember. Does seem all character classes do have a small room/area to suit them.

Here are the rogue ones I was after:


The view where the character would stand in the middle on the select screen.



The stairs to the den area.


The treasures in the den area.

Since it took a lil bit to get those pictures, would anyone want me to find and post all the other classes as well?
