Release Epic Laziness (7 Viewers) v0.4.25

Doing the BL 1/5 just looted the Wildspirit Tear and gated back to POK now running the script gives this error and crashes.

Shaman 1.5 farming Revenant Tooth step 182. This was working on a previous version (0.3.19) on another character, but is now failing. 125 Shaman, Live, CWTN automation.

As a workaround, I removed zradius from the manage.campGroup function in manageautomation.Lua as that wasn't in the 0.3.19 revision, and its working again for me.
 
doing Cleric 2.0 step 56 has been sitting here in MPG at the projecting of Arcana not doing anything. just says searching for nearest shell of the master.
 
just ran though 1.5 on my other cleric and just wanted to say it finished no problem at all with the fix you made thank you!
 
It has not yet been implemented, but it will be.



I did not seem to have an issue with needing the 1.5 equiped. i received the messages with it in inventory. But I will watch for any more bug reports about this.




What level was the ranger? Do they have the Spirit of Eagle AA?



It does not turn of advloot, but advloot being on can definitely cause issues.



Did you skip steps manually? It should not be able to make it to the steps to interact with Cryssa until it has all 3 of the sections.



Did it kill all the necromancers? Did The Dracoliche of Hsagra spawn? Was the Dark Orb in the loot window?
killed everything there was no orb in loot window I saw or dracoliche but was flipping back and forth on several toons doing these epics, ill try and run it again and watch more closely
 
The Rog 1.5 does some weird stuff with bags on step 403, trying to get the collection bag from Elyn Connoy, it seems my Half Elf Rog does not have faction with them so she won't talk to me but its starts picking stuff up and moving it around as if I have the collection satchel prematurely.
if you have any idea on the faction would appreciate it too, I just tried to be in the disguise barbarian and nothing, also tried the wolves of the north potion from the loyalty vendor and said my faction was higher than it would restore so not sure why she won't talk to me.
 
doing the war epic on my Iksar and they def can not buy in Rivervale lol could be something to look at for some races for the steps
 
Magician 1.5 epic has a problem at step 16. It's not moving to Lost Tomekeeper. He is on a ship at the extreme north of the zone. The /nav target or spawn doesn't work. I have to move manually to the spot.
 
BST 1.5 step 61 after giving the note to Marrey the toon swims across a few zones to use a book to POK, gate potion would save some time.
Also step 91 after giving the letter to Muada in WW toon runs across many zones to get to Shar Val, Gate would be much faster.
same thing for between Maiden’s Eye and Plane of Nightmare Step 98

I must say that I love this as I hate doing Epic's and this made my life a lot easier. Even though it is still in the bug phase, it really helps out. Much appreciated~~!!
 
shaman 1.0 step 82 did the same thing, and also it turned off Adv loot again, I only use adv loot on all my toons and it was turned off and it kept killing this and not looting it, I looted it manually and turned adv loot back on and this item was not on my filters yet.

This is my fault. I updated the mesh for this zone but have not uploaded the new meshes. Sorry about that, I will get them up today.

The only time the script will force the use of a teleportation skill (throne of heroes, origin, gate, drunkard's stein) is if you have been taken to a location that does not have an easy path back out. For example, The Hole. If you want it to gate after steps where this is not the case you will have to enable the return to bind when traveling setting.

Currently the return to bind setting is not as robust as I would like it to be. I have some ideas on how to bring it more inline with what I want it to do, but I have not yet had the time or energy to implement these ideas.

Most of your issues seem to be stemming from looting. While i did recently make a minor change to the looting function, it was not something that should have broken anything. And it absolutely never interacts with your advloot settings.

What I will need you to do is to run this again, preferably the Shaman steps 50-54 portion. Have your console settings turned up to Super Verbose and let it kill Tabien or Glaron. Once it has failed to loot, pause it and copy about 50-100 lines (at least enough to include the "Attempting to loot itemname" lines). This will help me track down what exactly is happening.
 
Paladin 1.5 pre step 36 pick up rune. The rune was in my inventory already. The module should have advanced to the next step.
 
Paladin 1.5 step 18 travel to quenos2 is stuck at quenos2. Ater arriving, manually advanced to the next step. Needed to keep advancing to travel to Free Port. Enic moved around a bit so needed to move and hail manually. When the program hailed he was no longer there so the step was wasted.
 
Rogue epic 1.5: Almost thinking there should be a /waiver switch like Grind. For example, if you have 200 poison making & all of the poison mastery AAs, it's not very likely you'll fail at anything in the 277 range. Similarly baking @ 150 with baking AAs. Worst that happens is a fail & having to go to the outline & re-farm.
 
Mage epic 1.5 step 19. Killed about a dozen ice burrower and no meat. I've watched on the map movement to the target. The target keeps teleporting to a new location. This part is taking a long time. It doesn't seem to be a problem with epic. I do see better behavior when I target the ice burrower. Maybe you need to target the ice burrower and move towards it?

SInce it is taking so long, the faction hits are adding up.


Never mind. I ran 2 12 hours sessions and got 5 meats. I was having bad luck initially. The random number generator was not kind.

There is. There is an option to run it without enforcing tradeskill level. I did it, as one of the tradeskills was 2 away from the required and would have needed farmed items to level up.

ok will try am working on Shamana 1.5 and its advancing without lootings as well, and adv loot was turned off, it seems to work far better if its turned on and of course the items are not already set to never loot, but so far almost all of the looting of items has failed in shaman 1.5 but its gone on and it got to the point where it was going to combine and of course couldnt because I had none of the items. so manually using the full outline to go back and redo things with Adv loot on
 
Excellent work on this script. If not the best contribution it is in the top 5. Just a note about the Bard 1.5 right around step 78, will grab the wrong item, turn it in and move on to necropolis, this causes issues with turn in and then amounts to no spawn in necropolis. Duplicate named items in inventory.

Bard 1.5 seems to be stuck on steps 95, he goes in to DN kills tons of stuff never seems to get what he needs and the event of all the mobs is done. this is for this Dark Orb
Same happened to me. Once everything was dead, the named mobs must have despawned leaving me with a pile of minion corpses. I zoned out and back in and it triggered the minions, started killing all the minions but would not attack the named mobs, the one on the ramp was not attackable right away until all of the others were dead or was bugged out of range, one I manually targeted all of the named mobs they were killable and then the last one on the ramp aggroed, once he died the dragon popped and and deaded him to loot the orb.
 
Hi, When doing Cleric 2.0 at step 10, this is supposed to farm for top, bottom and center pieces for signet. It kills one time then goes to turn them in, when cleric doesn't have any of them yet. The farming part is broken. Cheers, Tshadow
 
I first want to say thank you for the hard work you put into this and how well it works and I want to do my best to provide good feedback to help resolve issues.
after enabling the invis and gate options in settings on the cleric while traveling to SSRA to farm the cortex on step 47-48 it gates when you get to the grey and then again after manually stopping it and skipping that and zoninging in to SSRA I seleted step 49 to farm it gates again then wants ot run back but it gets stuck because it runs to SSRA which is via the deep and Echo and is in SSRA but in the basement, the other clerics worked fine, going to disable invis option and keep playing with it.
 
Problem with BL 1.5 I was not paying attention to the character so I'm not sure what happened, but I'm stuck on this step.

4) Give Sparkling Silk Scarf to Ankhefenmut to spawn Raving Sphinx Spiritservant. Kill it and loot


I have the Sparkling Silk Scarf, but when I hand it into Ankhefenmut Raving Sphinx Spiritservant dosen't spawn and Ankhefenmut starts attacking me.

Anyone have any suggestions how to progress past this step?
 
Beast 1.5 pre Epic. step 35 looking for mobs that drop the Perfect acrylia ore. there are traps that need to run over in order to get mob to spawn. my toon stans at entrance and looks for one of the mobs... but can only get them through setting off traps.

Did you have a 3 'person' party when speaking with the Projection of Arcana in order to have the instance created?

In situations like this you can sneak and move behind the NPC in order to interact with them. I will eventually set the script to just do this due to various faction issues, but this will not be a high priority.

also for War epic step 175 you can buy this generally, might be good to check these vendors first before farming

Unfortunately those vendors have limited quantities that are refreshed only on server reset. While it would be possible to check them before just going out to farm the ore yourself, it is just too unlikely to be present to warrant me doing so in the script.

Please tell me everything you can about what is happening, what your settings are, if you are grouped or solo. When it fails to loot I need you to either copy and paste, or screen capture the console messages that Epic Laziness is sending. Without debug messages (preferably set to super verbose) I will be unable to troubleshoot this issue.

No check is done to see if this is already in your inventory. I may add it at some point, but this is not high priority. If you already have the item either set the step in the Outline to be skipped, select the step after it in the Outline or Full Outline, or manually change steps with FF/Rewind buttons.

Do you have the latest mesh from the meshupdater for qeynos2? I had to make some minor changes in that zone and they may be the issue you are experiencing.

That step is rough. There are not a great many Ice Burrowers, and it is a rather uncommon drop. As to watching the map and seeing the mob teleport. EQ doesn't tend to update information for spawns that are a great distance away. Unfortunately targeting and then traveling is a bad idea because it leads to behavior that is obviously involving a 3rd party tool. How else would you target a creature 5000 units away?

Shaman 1.0 step 98 failing to find the Ancient Journal

Oof, that's not good. Does your shaman have the Black Dire Pelt in inventory still?
 
Magician 1.5 at step 90. Move to Gnaap failed. Gnaap was to the far north east. Nav failed to move to the spot. Needed to move manually to the spot. He was behind a number of boulders.
 
All changed nav meshes are now on the meshupdater. Please run this if you are having any issues with characters not moving, or failing to find a path. Thanks.
 
Bard 1.5 after manually killing the mobs in necropolis and looting the Dark orb. The script seem to stop at 109.
I followed the dialog and tried to update the steps as I went along to the dire mobs in north karana, swamp and so on and it never updated the setting file, stayed on 109.

Still an awesome resource. I have a few more bards in the rings I will run through at some point. Thanks again for the script.

Edit: May have something to do with tradeskill requirements. :)

One cool thing would be a tab with a list of pre-farmable items. Showing red or green if you have them :p
