Hey guys, I run many, many character at 105. Obviously gearing them all is a pain in the butt. Does anyone have a suggestion for a couple of instant zone tasks that can be farmed for named mobs and/or chest loot? I am about to start up progression to be able to requests tasks, and I am curious if there are any good tasks that drop all visible slots like there were in TBM. I do NOT farm gear to sell or anything like that. This is just for my personal boxes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I checked the group missions on eqresource and so far the loot hasn't been associated with the named that spawn in there. I also didn't see any mention of chests... just the named (that doesn't always spawn).
With that said, here's my suggestion:
1) Go to FM and do this event one time to knock out helms for all your toons (minus clerics): http://eok.eqresource.com/ancientdestroyerguardianofstrength.php
** edit ** Please note that the helm from this event (and all Ancient event items) is PRESTIGE. The picture on eqresource is wrong.
2) Find a spot to farm in an open zone, or better yet, wait until a guild pops into a zone to setup for raids and /pick over to your own zone. Don't leave and you'll have it mostly to yourself (unless other people realize what you're doing and /pick over).

No worries, dude. I knocked out some of those Ancient events today just for fun. The three I did were stupid easy... easier than the regular named I was farming in other Tier 1 zones. The only tedious part is you have to spawn the ancient by killing a bunch of trash. Not really bad considering its a free named spawn. Issue I'm running into now is the turn-in for the shield needs some faction (that I don't have), so I'm trying to get that up now.

Yep! I figured it out. I had to farm more faction. Easy peasy.

Pretty much all the data on Eqresource seems like its Beta data, so alot of stuff is marked non-Prestige and should be marked Prestige.

Feel like I'll be camping named mobs forever, the visible armor drop rate is pretty bad, on 28 kill of the same namer, I've gotten 3 cohort pieces to drop. There also seems to be a rarer out of the 2 non-visbles, the drop rate on "rarer" non-vis is about 15%.

Agree, this is my experience so far, as well. Maybe the drop rate in tier 2 isn't as bad? I haven't been there as the gear is all prestige and really would only work for my perma-subbed characters (of which there are 3 at the moment... possibly adding a 4th (another tank)). Making tier 1 stuff not no drop would help, but doubt that'll happen.
To tell you how bad it is.... I've had the same number of +35 rare purity augs as BP drops, at the moment.
