Tip - EoK F2P gearing tips. (Tank mostly)

I've found some optimum spots for updating a tanks gear for EoK.
This will help you gear the your tank and other toons in your group with all of the T1 visibles as all of these nameds drop them.

In Lceanium you can camp Kergag, the Mountain for a back slot item/and earring.

In scorched woods you can camp Zakija for a shield, and earring.
In scorched woods you can camp Plaguebringer for an awesome Aug and waist.
these two nameds PH's you can pull together. making it one camp.

In scorched woods you can camp Gullerback for TWO great augs, and a neck.


In frontier mountains you can camp Flamewarden Zev for an aug
In frontier mountains you can camp Spyhunter for a range item.
In frontier mountains you can camp Masterchef for a 2 hander
all in the same camp


In Frontier Mountains you can camp Reese the Rhino (ZAM's page sucks on this guy) for a shoulder/charm


In frontier mountains you can camp Bi'Faak for a 1 hander
In frontier mountains you can camp Delirious for a ring and shoulders if you missed one.
In frontier mountains you can camp Corrupted Guardian for another earring.
all in the same camp (This has been posted on here elsewhere as well and quite frankly led me to gather all of this info up for myself.)
This camp is SUPER easy, PH's are really easy, and the nameds are pretty straight forward as well. I'd recommend it to finish off T1 visibles if you end up getting everything else first.

I'd also recommend doing the Ancient Denmother event for the Honed Wurmslayer

These probably aren't the best available F2P items for a tank but for me I am upgrading a heroic SK... so it really helps.

Love your post with 1 glaring exception.. Ranged Item! Hunter Haltha in Lcea drops Mosscovered Longbow and for pulling I have found no better way for even my SKs to pull then with that bow! Shoot and get your ass back to camp with ZERO damage to your tank!

for a tank you want •A Drolvarg Lord and Drolvarg Cape the giant one is for casters
Straight up Warriors can also use Moss-Crusted Axe for extra HATE

Also don't forget to Kill the Orechomper for your Mask of Dust! For even MORE hateness!

And also don't forget that all ancient mob loots are prestige, which makes the Wurmslayer useless for a FTP toon.

Yup, for non-prestige augs you have to go back to TBM.

Yea, you gotta go back and farm TBM for augs. But thankfully there are a bunch and the TBM type 5 heroic augs are also not flagged prestige so a little bit more incentive and reason to sit around farming in TBM.
