Problem - Emulator build

I am wondering why we offer a rof2 emulator build. The current version is 100% unuasable on any emulator server simple cutting on attacks will crash people. Zoning will crash people. We have sent in hundreds of dumps hundreds of reports. My server of players are wondering when it will ever if ever get fixed in timely manors? Can we add a clause to the download of emulator compile (This may or may not work) So people have the option of how to spend their money. Making folks pay for a compile that is 100% unusable is not ethic or correct. We have been asking for some time now for a fix. Our money not as good as test/live? I am not speaking for my players as their words about this matter are much worse. But at this point with lack of support whats so ever im on verge of removing redguides from my sites and pushing them to a compile that actually works. This is by no means what i want or them but at some point enough is enough. We pay for a product we would like that product to actually work. I say we pull in people who can manage emul build or just remove the thing completely. Its 100% not even usuable atm yet still being sold....
 
Huh? I use it and don't have issues on my emu server, to say that it's 100% unusable is simply false.
 
I have about 70 users online atm who use redguides yes it can be usable to a point. But people pay for plugins as well as macros to work. All of them not a select number. So yes its unusable by its normal standards all my users have shifted to the base rof2 mq2 download. Ask mule how many dumps been sent to him. I run 5 popular discords for emul servers that are quite popular every single one reports mass crashing with rof2 redguides build. I also crash like no other from moveutils and zoning not caching correctly and causing it to hang. I myself have sent in over 15 dumps in a 4 day period. Users do not want to pay for it to be used halfway they want the full effect.
 
In the easiest way i can put it as a example. I went to Mcdonalds i ordered a bigmac i was given the buns and lettuce i was not given the meat. Being able to check the dumps myself ive even sent in some fixes / showed him errors for some my crashes. But i can only show as i have no access to correct. You are also more then welcome to join the redguides discord where there has been mulitiple people who complain about the crashing wondering where and when it will be fixed.

i'm getting 0 crashes with redguide's current build... so no clue what you're talking about...
zoned 150 times (completely random zones), 0 crashes.
left kissassist on for 24 hours straight (own private server that was completely locked so i don't infringe on anyone else), 0 crashes.
loaded all the normal plugins i'd normally load, 0 crashes.

if youre getting crashes, then its ether your not fully updated or something is wrong on your end... i do know mq2 doesn't like it when class names aren't what they are suppose to be... but thats something that is 100% unfixable due to how mq2 works...

if youre using redguide's current compile on servers that have little to no client side modifications. you shouldn't be getting any crashes...

if you are on one of those custom servers that have high modifications to the client, then youre going to need to completely compile yourself (or hope the server owner has a compile with all the fixes needed)

i don't feel like redguides has cheated anyone out of anything... they promised a compile for RoF2 that has x plugins that work for everquest like servers... and thats exactly what you're getting from them...
 
i heard from a few emu people too, and they are crashing uncontrollably with kiss running and mq2melee and, like turning attack on with mq2melee makes them crash, having kiss running while zoning makes them crash, having mq2melee and kiss on at the same time makes them all that jazz.
 
I am fully updated and am not the only one who has expressed concerns with the current build. I dont need speak on it anymore im purely wondering if and when it will be updated and or if someone can be assigned to take care of it. I am glad 1 or 2 people have not had issues because they not running macro system some of us are. But those of us who make full use of this compile know where the problems are happening and have gave plenty of dumps.
 
maybe if @Enine could invite @dencelle to a server where there a big problems with this current build so dencelle could run his tests there, instead of on his own maybe less customized server.
 
I have the same Problems with crashing with the current build on VoG Server (Visions of Grandeur).
e.g. Zoning from PoK to PoT is crashing 50% of the time.

VoG is btw a great Server if you want to box a group!
I turned back to an old build which is working very good. Would love to use the new stuff like zoning and new kissassist … but running the old ones now.
 
So, I just want to follow up, cause I'm on Enine's profusion server. There is definitely a problem with the build, currently, on emu servers? cause I'm crashing every other time I zone, but only if I run kissassist. MQ2 works fine on its own. I checked today and was zoning back and forth between zones without crashes, then when I ran kissassist it just exited out of EQ, no crash window or anything, just straight closed my window out, lol. I've been looking all over and trying different things others have tried in the forums but they are old posts. If its the build that is still bad on Enine's then I'll just stop wracking my brain and stop looking for now.
