Problem - either mq 2 or eqgame out of date

i have done the update for mq2 and eq both say they are good but my mq2 still says its on the oct 24 patch not sure why it still not updating for me any ideas??

Some ideas:

1. You're running a different version of one of the programs. e.g. Live, test, beta, emu.
2. You have your folders mixed up.

Solution?
Close everything down first or reboot. Go to the folders and start the programs, don't trust your shortcuts.

well as i sayed my mq2 is reading oct 24 so yes it is a diff version i have ran the update afew times now and still will not update

I had this same problem from the update. To fix it, I replace the client.wyc file with a backup copy ( I backup my release folders every now and then). This forced a new update and fixed the issue. I know this will probably not help you (unless you have a backup copy), just a solution that worked for me.

well i fixed it what i did was save all my ini files and just reinstall and now it works
