Interestingly enough,
"...some of Daybreak’s titles performed below expectations, largely due to delayed content releases. Therefore, Daybreak results for the year came in 9.3 percent below 2022."

Key highlights for the period included successful expansion pack releases for EverQuest, EverQuest 2 and The Lord of the Rings Online. The content releases were received well by the player communities and performed according to plan.

I was more pointing out, based on the metrics reported, they are doing ok to great... so while people run around screaming doom, that linked report says the otherwise.

And to top it off -

As of yesterday, however, it was just a rumor, and now it’s more, as players have dug up a reference in the US Copyright Office database that suggest PlanetSide’s IP has indeed been sold off. The filings include reference to PlanetSide, PlanetSide core combat, PlanetSide 2, PlanetSide Aftershock, and PlanetSide Arena, transferred from Daybreak Game Company to Bay Tree Tower Limited on January 24th of this year. We don’t know what exactly Bay Tree Tower is, although there does exist a private equity company called Bay Tree that may be related.
