Bug - Duplicate Heroic Satchel of the Adventurer (free heroic upgrade)

Okay, Piggybacking off of the make multiple F2P accounts and having mutiple heroic upgrades I discovered this little ditty!

So when you go to make your character and you click the green heroic button.. let the loading screen come up i count to 5, then I turn off my internet to the computer (unplug turn off wifi, or switch 3g off on your tethered phone which is what i did). It will eventually time out when it does turn internet back on to the computer.

When you login you will notice a couple of things..
1. on char select your character is lvl 1 who you just tried to heroic
2. they are in the green heroic armor already :-)
3. the heroic button is still there in existance ready to use :-)

So you click heroic on them to it will say you can not undo this blah blah .. click yes when the game loads you'll have your gear lvl 85 and can claim your 15k plat ( this cant be dooped by any means i've discovered)

however like when you complete a quest you have the rewards screens that pop up .. youll have one for your armor, 1 for your mounts / bags, 1 for weapons to claim the stuff thats already on your character.

I know it just duplicates the armor / weapons and bags but 4 free 24 slot 100% weight reduction bags is better then 2 and it only takes about 2 minutes of your time or less.

I hope this helps someone out as for me I have SEVERAL of each class with 4 bags instead of 2 all on seperate accounts.

My apoligies ! I didnt notice anything about it when i scanned the level 2 forums other than that multiple account one.

Either way You're welcome ive spent hours trying to packet edit anything to get the plat to dupe but no luck haha

To add to this, I like creating characters based on their name. Had "Hardas" on my main account for a while in different guises (make a toon, then deleted and made a different class with the same name). Anyway, I found an old account login that hasn't been used for anything but LON and I made a Necro last night. Logged in and he was already geared with 4 bags. Looked at the bank and there were 4 normal bags in there too. Nothing to do with the internet for me but must be something to do with the character files within main program.

worked today, also duplicated my bard's bracers and the powersource component as well as weapons... looks like anything not lore is going to be doubled.

a slight modification on this if anyone's interested

1) create character, click heroic upgrade, disconnect internet
2) now you have a lvl 1 toon with heroic equip.
3) instead of re-clicking heroic char upgrade, create a new character and click heroic char upgrade and disconnect as before.
4) you now have 2 lvl 1 toons with heroic gear and still have the heroic upgrade available.

rinse and repeat until you're satisfied but the last character you "double upgrade" will be the one that gets 85, full spells and etc. with 2 sets of bags & etc.

I personally used this to give my bazaar mule some big bags for stuff I wasn't ready to sell (yet) as well as not have him standing there nekkid.

p.s. you can't use this to try to get a set of heroic gear on an existing toon.

the duplication of satchels & etc. is nerfed.

You can still make a lvl 1 heroic though.
