I am sometimes dumber than i need to be, its a curse, but sometimes also i am just really dumb.

DPSOn =0/1/2- Off/On cast normal by mob % health/On cast in absolute descending order of mob health % tag. This will cast every spell with a health tag. Prevents skipping spells that may occur when mobs die to fast. When set to 2, Mob HP % is only used to prioritize cast line-up

I am slightly confused by the wording here.

and i am unsure what is the difference between having dpson 1 or 2

as i read it.

dpson=1 will cast your dps spells in the order that the health % tells it to, so if mob is at 75% it wont cast the 85% spell
dpson=2 will cast your spells in absolute order based onthe percentage they have listed but does not care about the mobs %

examples:
DPSOn=1
DPS1=Shock of Ice|95
DPS2=Fire Bolt|75
DPS3=Shock of Lightning|45

in this setting, it will cast ach spell based on what the mobs health is, so if mob is at 85% when ka engages dps mode, it will cast shock of ice, then if mob is undeer 75 it will hit it with fire bolt and thne eventual shock of ligtning.

if mob is under 70% when it engages ka, it will hit it with fire bolt and eventual shock of ligthning.

DPSOn=2
DPS1=Shock of Ice|95
DPS2=Fire Bolt|75
DPS3=Shock of Lightning|45

here it will start nuking with shock of ice then fire bolt, then shoclk of lightning and then what?

i am sorta confused..

can anyone give a clear and simple answer, tell it like i am dumb.

and i apologize for asking about something that is probably obvious to everyone, but in alot of inis i looked at, i see some do 2 others 1, and i see no real difference to why

yes.

dpson = 1 can skip spells if mobs are dying fast, dpson = 2 will go in order and not skip a spell but may not reach the end of the list.

1 has an advantage for instances where conserving mana and not wasting spells could be benefticial. i.e. why wast the mana to use the 30s dot on the necro when the mob is already half dead?, skip to the fast dots and save the mana.

2 has an advantage when getting certain spells on is important, i.e. slow / snare / tash before trying to land other things.

so technically i can leave off the percentages in dpson=2?

if i just want it to cast those 3 spells in the listed order, i dont care waht percentage it cast them at?

the percentages tell it the order

Rich (BB code):
DPSOn=2
DPS1=Shock of Ice|95
DPS2=Fire Bolt|75
DPS3=Shock of Lightning|45

will work the same as

Rich (BB code):
DPSOn=2
DPS1=Shock of Ice|90
DPS2=Fire Bolt|50
DPS3=Shock of Lightning|25

but
Rich (BB code):
DPSOn=2
DPS1=Shock of Ice
DPS2=Fire Bolt
DPS3=Shock of Lightning

will fail and not cast.

Awesome thread, very helpful. I am thinking this will help my ranger get a silent shot off every fight too if thats what he leads with to engage in combat!

Going to DPSOn 2 really increases the DPS as it basically sets the priority for your best spells.
