Fairy Mission in Nektulos info
You are lvl 25 fairies in this mission.
-- Your first task is to find the remains and destroy the chest with melee.
The lamps are invulnerable to all melee/spells so you will have to avoid them. They are tethered to a certain range so you can run away and they will pop back to a spot. Using hide and running, get to the chest and start meleeing it (use hide here whenever the lamps get close to you).
After it has been destroyed, loot the dust as well as the reward.
All the lamps will now despawn and will be replaced by undead rats. These you can attack with melee/spells and are tethered as well.
-- Your next task is to destroy the 3 fairy shrines.
On the shrines, use the fairy fire to do the most dmg on them. I think around 30%, a zombie will spawn and walk to the shrine and attack. You can kill it using fairy fire and heals on a person. If you brought only 3 people, you can use fairy fire, then hide and med a bit or wait for zombie to walk away. Once you destroy the 3 shrines, either make a run to zone or just kill yourself and zone out and you are finished.
(will post stats on chest reward once I do again.)

Orc Mission in Nektulos

Nagafen Mission in Lavastorm
Hail "a weary traveler" to get mission (near entrance to evil side)
You are Nagafen, King Tranix, Magus Rokyl, Warlord Skarlon, and 3 Fire Giant Priests.
Protect Nagafen, if Naggy dies, you fail the mission.
You are being raided by a guild, 16 mobs per wave and 6 waves until the end.
Kill the clerics and healers first, then the enchanters and bards, then the rest.

Pirate Mission in Butcherblock
Hail gnome north of docks to get mission
You choose from a warrior, rogue, cleric, and enchanter.
Make sure you get the optional quest part that has you loot 0/100 Plundered Treasure in 45 minutes.
I think for this mission, you need to loot at least 50 to win mission and get exp and loot 75 to get the treasure to spawn. (spawned for us when we looted 75 last time)

Froglok Mission in Lower Guk
**Have not done this yet**

Brownie Mission in Lesser Fay
Hail fairy near Greater Fay zone, right out in front to get mission.
This involves killing Equestrielle (drops reward loot) and converting 20 corrupted brownies. You beat down the brownies until they get to 30%, then use the wand the fairy gives you to convert them.

Kejek Mission in Stonebrunt
Hail "npc" in kitty village to get mission.
Make sure you have someone in group pick a ranger or druid, tracking is a must here.
-- First task, you have to kill 10 mountain spirits. You'll have to fight them there, so use overhead camera to watch for adds.
-- Next task, you have to loot 5 panda pelts.
-- Bring the pelts to npc
-- Kill the kobold boss that spawns in front of mines and your done. Loot corpse for reward.
Currently, this is bugged in that you get no exp for finishing quest.

OK i know there is two other NPCs that are suppose to give missions.. I can not for the life of me remember where i read it.. anyone know?

3 differnt instance givers here, nw corner right of zone in left of zone in from corthus. Look for freemind cipher for runnyeye missions and playing as sporials, look to the right for slave traders for solo faction type quests and playing as drachinids, look in the nw corner for werewolf missions aprox -1430 by -680, im tired and locs could be wrong, if they are i will repost, little clockwork gnome gives werewolve adv one key phrase is shadowmane invasion for got the other.

I tried some from the mushroom man new the ent but he only gave crappy lvl 25 missions, and they were crap. funny at first but took forever and resulted in about 2% exp
 
For the invasion one. Make an assist to key assist the commander. Joust in and out as you can to keep damage off of the commander. Vicars will heal you. The commander will stay up until the second big guy is dead and by then more reinforcments will have moved to the 3rd named. Hide/Sneak over to there and finish him off. Loot the explosive. Hide/sneak down to the door and set the explosive then stand right next to the door when it goes up. Redo hide/sneak and enter the room. At this point make sure 1 person has Nimble up. Use Nimble and Rage to tank the named for a few seconds and then use the snare aa and start to kite. Have everyone else follow along and kick the crap out of him from behind while continously redoing the snare. When agro changes have the new person pick up the kite while the others EVADE (turn off attack, use the hide ability), make sure you get 2 or 3 successful evades in if you were the previous kiters. Evade often during the kite to avoid frequent switches. My group of 6 has got the clear down to 20 minutes now and a 17m lockout. Up to 18 aa's so far.
 
fight it out with the shadows. sometimes you get overwelmed in 1 room but once the big guy is dead it doesn't matter you can just skip the room. Basically what you are doing is tanking for the shadows, try to only get one mob at a time as the agro works like a pet tanking. So if you get to close to a group your gonna get raped by 2-3 instead of just taking on one.
 
okhere is how we doin it.. not timed but works great

1 monk 5 rogues

monk pulls the ragers to SW corner... and dies FDs.. whatever

the shadows are left to fight only the elders...

the monk can slow.. so helps with boss too

I love this mission.. even with out double exp 8-)
 
just a note if you want to start the defend the caves just follow the text from the robot, he gives you a crate then give it back to get the mission. Ive not done this one yet though

the defend mission takes way too long the 'Shadowmane Invasion" is much better. I'm not sure if my group just isnt doing it as fast as u guys but we hardly ever get a lockout time. one time we had one for 15min but thats only 1 out of 5 or 6 runs. We searched for many other monster missions and nothing compares to this. The second bext mission was the fairy quest in neriak, which is crap and annoying. This is a winner, do it up.
 
fairy quest is slow.. naggy is faster imo ..

hehe, the invasion one is Shadowmane, not Shadowmen :P i must try some of these... seem like lots of fun
 
Can we get a list of loots for each monster mission? The fairy one drops a sword/necklace about 110 hp each. Any ideas on the rest?

Army are you soloing the Naggy mission?

If so, how many boxes you using, and can you post a Strat?
 
I solo fairy mission with up to 20 minute lockout time, so I wouldn't say Naggy is faster really =P
 
Fairy mission , aswell as the werewolf missions are 45min lockout FROM WHEN U GET THE MISSION. notice the timer before you finish, for a 6 hour mission you can get a new one at 5:15 after completing the old one, or 1:15 for a 2 hour mission. There is no lockout timer for failing. Hope this helps.

PS fairy is the way to go to farm exp. do a run in 15min take a 30min break and run it again. Easily soloable with hide/run. Make sure to insta hide after u begin to cast fairy fire. Good Luck!

I 3-4 box... 1 puter is naggy .. and at least 2 clerics...

Clerics are set up with hot keys.. although i should start using one of the macros for multiboxin...

naggy just keeps fearing and killing..

usually 4th puter is the SK or War .. jsut for more fire power

not sure that helps much .. but it works for me

hmm it wast int caster gloves... i have never looted them .. so not 100% sure..

I was doing it just for the exp 8-)
 
Correction on pirate mission:

You need 30 treasures to get exp and the loot chest. Have to wait the full 45 min for either, the wait is INSIDE the mission on this one. Altho some say that increased treasure gives better loot, I have not seen it, and I've done more than 2 doz. missions, getting 30-92 treasures. You get the boots (common) or an aug (rare).

Do it as a fight if you have 4 or more, and get treasures from kills and chests, or as a rogue mission with 3-6. Rogue mission is sneak in and take unprotected chests only. Either is simple.

Tho u need 3 for the mission, it is soloable once you have the mission. So 2 can be afk.
 
On the BB pirate mission: I have gotten 100 treasures 3 times out of the probably 25 I've done it and my experience is the same as Druid's, same loot everytime, either the crappy boots or the crappy SV all augment. Just do 30 and be a slacker :)
 
From my experience in the fairy mission the Sword you get is different depending on the level of the toon that loots it. I have looted the sword with a lvl 70 that gets the dark whispered a lvl 50 that gets the the ornate shortsword a lvl 44 that gets a razor shortsword and the lowest one I have gotten is called a lighting shortsword if memory serves me right. I think the same thing happens with the necklace but haven't really tired it Will have to try and see what happens.

Has anyone noticed anything similiar with the other monster missions or do they give out static rewards.
 
Can anyone tell me what to do inshadowmane?

The pack splits up instead of tackling one at a time, and gets mauled.

For the record also, there is no rogue class. Two warrior classes
 
the shadowmane mission got f*ed up bad.
1) They changed the classes so that u dont get FD or sneak any more.
2) You now spawn with 60% health instead of the original 100%.
3) You cannot train mobs away any more since they now path back.
4) You now get the same exp as all the other missions (1.25 aa)

now its pretty much unbeatable unless you have a good 5 people knowing what to do, and now it takes quite a bit longer then it used to. If you doing this for anything other then the loot (the 45/30 pal/sk 1hs, or the 130ish hp shoulder) then I wouldnt even bother.



----about all of DoD mission----

I've become pretty tired of farming aas and such and noticed that most of this gear was better then my crap bard's gear. So, now im researching drops from all dod monster missions to see how I can easily equipt my bard. Also the extras goto my leet alt pally. So far I've descovered that the shiliskin quest in Stoneroot (avg lvl 70 only) drops a 115hp/115mana ring with decent stats and resists, and the arachnid quest (avg lvl 70 also) drops a 130/ho/120mana mask with decent stats and resists. Seeing as there are so many different monster missions (im thinking almost 20+) and that each one drops a different piece of armor. Then one could use this to their advantage and farm the loots with a good 3 person group that can warp, nokos, etc. I'm going to do more research on this and hope to build a master list of all the loot for the monster missions with a link to posts that other have made with short guides about them. Remember all missions have 2 different loots, one common and one rare. If everyone could start posting the loots that can be found it would be great.

---about the lower guk mission---

Train!
I tried this last night with some people who knew what to do. But I'm still not sure how it works. The objective of this mission is to train out 20 player looking NPCs from lower guk. You get to pick several different classes of lvl 50 frogloks. Being much higher lvl then the NPC frogloks in the mission, when you encounter the PC-NPCs they become scared and run away. I was told that it was necessary to follow them to the zoneline but I dont think this is the case. I believe if u just warp to them and get them running they will eventually make it to the zoneline. I dont know if theres any way to make this easier since the pathing is so horrible in lguk it takes quite a while to finish this mission. the reward was some chain gloves 90hp/mana with stats and some resists.
