Question - Do chase items drop in instances

william i am pretty sure chase items do not drop in COTF instances any more, no idea on TBM/EOK ones

Chase items drop in content that chase items drop in that content, I have gotten a couple but it is rare!

They drop in all instances that are part of that expansion they drop in. Just very rare. Last one I got in EOK instance was 3 weeks ago. Of course the last one I got in eok non instance was 3 months ago so.

For EOK chase loots I've seen the estimated average of 1 loot/5000 kills. Has anybody done enough tracking to have another estimated average for chase loots from instances?

I have gotten 4 chase loot drops in DH HAs back when I was grinding them away for AAs and to level my Clr & Enc.

It has been a while since that but strongly considering leveling a bunch of 85 noob accts with my raid Tank... If I see any new chase loot drop there I will let you know.

its higher that's all I can get out of the devs. I was told by ngreth in a PM chase loot is 1/5500 and in instances its higher. He wouldn't share the drop rate in instances but I wouldn't bet against 1 in 50000. I've ran a group 24/7 in for EOK mission at 170 mobs an hr for a month and only seen one. I usually run 5-6 groups though so I do see them just very rare.

no i believe they all populate the instance with enemies on instance start and no respawns happen

The last instance I can remember that had respawns (and I think that was even a bug) was the Dino island HA from TDS.

And that's gone now since they patched all instances to cap out at the level of the expac it was released
