Question - Disappearing weapons

I thought I share this with you to see if anyone has seen anything similar...my other choice was to call X Files...

I run Kiss on my SK, and this morning my 2h and my 1h + shield disappeared. The weapons weren't on the toon at all. I use bandoler/ switching weapons...I have been using it for awhile...and it never had problems.

I bought coupons to of recovery, and I was able to find under deleted items my 1h and my shield. So I recovered them.
I bought a new 2h, and when I got the parcel, my old sword was in my inventory with augments on it...or was it the new...with the augments...bottom line, that item was back with the augments...

There are a few odd things here:
1, how would my items get deleted? Would bandolier be bugged? I checked my loot.ini and the items don't exist...so should not be destroyed by autoloot accidentally.

2, how come when I buy a new sword, when it gets to my inventory it is fully equiped as the old? This is nice actually and the least of my concerns, it is odd though

And finally and foremost, how can I prevent my items being destroyed in the future?

Please let me know if you have thoughts and possible fix.

I have had issues with items disappearing, but doing a /camp desktop and coming back into the game the items showed up in my inventory. There hasn't been anything changed to kiss when it comes to deleting items on your cursor, but if you are using the bandolier none of that applies.

Well, the shield and the 1h was deleted for sure, I had to reclaim them with a coupon.
The 2h popped back up as soon as I bought another one. I just found the new, unmodified weapon in my inventory...

Thanks for the advice, I will try to camp and relog next time.
In the meantime I think I maxed H2H

You might have accidentally deleted it from inside your inventory look up window. Recover the item, put it on your cursor and see if it is deleted right off the cursor...unfortunately if that is it then you will need to recover it again, but before doing so make sure your "always delete" check box is not selected.

I have something similar that happens 100% of the time.. I use a short sword of yakesha. I have been farming them and when I get another in my inventory the SK rotates the weapons.. I know this for sure because I have an ornament on mine and see the old image of the new sword and see my ornamented sword in my inventory. It keep flipping thru them when in battle.

Do you have bandoleer set up and using? I think bandoleer may be doing that, but there is no reason for kiss to just swap out your weapons.

Well, it has happened again, this time my shield got deleted. I found it under deleted items, but I was able to recover.

I was in a trivial zone where mq2autoloot got a lot of items on "Destroy". I am wondering whether + lag that gets the shield destroyed.
I use Bandolier, and I have a boatload of trash loot on destroy...

Are you logging in and out to see if it reappears in your inventory before buying another?

There are some monster missions that are bugged, they give you a weapon to use but the script can sometimes bug out and make the normal weapons disappear however they do come back when you zone again.

Having things on your cursor when doing other things can be a bit buggy but generally the item if it disappears will be returned once you zone or relog

Yes, logged fully out, and logged back on. The item did not show up...then I checked at deleted items and it was among the deleted items.
I was simply mass killing in Old Sebilis (hardcore heritage) and camping augments for my team...

I don't think it is KISS doing it. There are only 3 /destroy commands in kiss and the checks are very specific on what will execute the /destroy command. I would lean towards a Plugin causing the issue.

To be safe I removed all "Destroy" flag from Loot.ini and replaced it with "Leave".
There are a hand full of Destroy commands in forage.ini , but those don't seem to work anyway...

I am also thinking assigning other then MA to master looter. Perhaps a caster that does not use Bandolier. Although the MA has all the big bags...but that can be worked on.

What I am thinking (but cannot test) is that loot plugin issues the Destroy command, but may be lagged, and between the time of issuing the command, may be the bandolier item is on the cursor...I can't think of anything else...
