Tip - Destroy stuff social macro

So I have a ton of very useful macros that are in game social macros, as you don't always want to stop a current macro just to do some small task...

Like right now more stupid hats are dropping!

So I have this in game social that I set to the 0 key

What it does is 2 things

1. sets the item in ninjaloot to pick it up and then destroy it!
2. it destroys the item in your hand as well!

BE CAREFUL using this macro, it will destroy any item in your hand!

line3=/destroy

So basically while I am in a new zone I get a lot of trash I NEVER want, so I pick it up from my bag, hit this social macro and poof not only is it GONE but if I ever loot another one it will be deleted as well. Keeps the piles of corpses at my feet to a minimum when I delete instead of ignore....

Not using advanced loot is just being crazy! (Not that that's not a stretch for Raz &#128512 Now that advanced loot is an option, anytime my friends in game see a group pulling and there are no corpses, they assume they are bots using ninja loot and some of them will start harassing the bot group just for fun. One jerk on our server will just report them as MQers even if they aren't.

Just because they aren't using advanced loot doesn't mean they are all bots of course, some just refuse to use it. I personally don't want to check another corpse in my life. The auto/advanced loot function is my savior.

the annoying part of autoloot is having to retrain it constantly.

Unless it has changed since I shut it off, it keeps unchecking the always loot box if you have a lore item in bags and it comes up again, so things like zonewide random drops just do not get looted after you hit the bank and are able to.

Course, maybe I am just being special again =)

I've set up advloot in this recent week myself and I truly like it being able to just do all the work. I set my main character with always need for the stackable valuable's and everyone else gets always greed for everything that has a value at all. The one thing that I don't like or maybe understand is while the loot window populates as you kill stuff, it doesn't have a default for new items. If you don't tell it which option it should be, then it rots. Is there a way to have it default new items as greed or something? I know you can go through an amount of history after the fact and change loot options on the last X number of things but that doesn't help when it first comes up.

in the "edit settings" for advanced loot is the option to "auto remove lore items" or something similar, if you uncheck that it should keep trying to loot lore items after you have one.

THAT was my main beef with not using advloot, guess I have about 125 toons to update now!

IF you guys want, I'll post my INI files for /adv loot and you guys can copy them to your toons then edit them from there. I have it set to always loot and roll on most everything already. Collections, spell essences, most tradeskill stuff, etc.
