Dencelle's MQ2 Compile for EQEMU

Notes:
--Current Compile Updated: 4/27/2011

MQ2PacketAPI is required if you're going to run our packet hacks in order to use the following plugins. MQ2AASpend, MQ2InstaMem, MQ2Speed, MQ2Warp

It should autoload if you use the Macroquest.ini in the compile. If not, please /plugin MQ2PluginAPI in game. Packet blocking is no longer part of MQ2Main.


MQ2DoCrack.ini is included.

I'll say it again just in case it was missed: MQ2PluginAPI is REQUIRED if you want to use our packet hacks. Please be sure to load (/plugin MQ2PluginAPI) it in game if you do not use the Macroquest.ini I provide, which will load it automatically.

Borked plugins were left out of source file. Expect bugs as the new ones are reported everyday.

Instructions:

  1. Download the zip at the bottom of this post
  2. Unzip to a folder of your choice
  3. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
  4. Run EverQuest.exe
  5. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
  6. Refer back to this post for any syntax and plugin descriptions you need

Any Authors that wish their plugins to be removed or added to this project please contact me through PMs on here or Email me, you will be required to provide source if you are attempting to remove your plugin from my compile (so i know that your really the author..)

For People interested in a SoD version of this compile, please post here, if enough interest gains. I'll post one.

is it just me or is the warp code not working ? i got the plugin running been trying every command i can think of and nada
 
I wouldn't use /warp on p99 if that's the server you play on. Its detectable if you warp more than 10 locs. the only way I could warp without causing a flag was to write a plugin to warp you 10 locs to your destination then send a movement update pkt. It just repeats that til you arrive to your destination. Ghetto yes I know, but works!

abyss most people realise this, i've been working on a new warp that would work like that.. (wouldn't you need to do the asm change to update your character location, not the movemnet packet... movement packet = sending packet to change your location serverside, asm update = bring your client up to date of where the server thinks your at...)
 
working on a new project, -.- its really complex and not sure how long its going to take, but if anyone would be willing to help out it would be much appricated.

trying to make it so warps are steped instead of 1 large one... not 100% sure how i'm going to tackle this since i have not a dam clue on headings and all that good stuff but meh... hopefully in a few weeks i'll have it done and will have warps safer to use

just downloaded, extracted. when i try to open MQ2, I get this error:

The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

anyone else getting this error? My other emu compiles work?

you haveing Win 7? if its odd you dont have that file.

i use some really intense code, most people have all the dlls, your just so happenly one of the very few unlucky ones.... lol
 
just installed it, restarted the computer, still doesnt work :(

this application has failed to start becasue MVSCP100.dll was now found. re-installing the applcation may fix this problem

any clue what that means?

well i for 1 would love an sod version so i could use on haven. Thank you for other compile i use it when running titanium version but to get higher zone i run sod
 
onfocus it should be normal...
offfocus it should turn your farplane clip to 1

Oh, that must be it. I am running Everquest in parallels so the focus may be screwed up.

Is there anyway to disable that?
 
is moveutils broke for p99? when i try to /stick it says it works in the mq2window but my toon won't stick to anything.. any help is appreciated thanks.
 
Speed detectable on P99? I remember doing that a bit a while back, but never got busted. I hear they boosted the monitoring of MQ users on P99 though.
 
i run at 1.3 and never get detected, even on p99... going to change my speed pretty soon and make it so you can just type /speed sow or something like that and it'll set you to sow's speed... if anyone wouldn't mind providing the speeds of buffs it would help me alot
