Question - Cycling character windows

Good evening all I hope this finds you well.
I managed to get autologin working , but was unable to add a keybind to enable switching of profiles in game & i also have the same issue when alter the ini, nothing is cycling game windows.
I have quickly read up on the preferred way to set up a profile, the 1st option of the 3 in the forums.
My autologin is fine for 6 characters , just cannot figure out how to easily switch screens, any advice would be much appreciated

ive not got it working reliably myself. it will work at times, and its iffy. i only played with it for a few hours one day trying to get it to work.
i use Wineq2 for custom eqclient.ini files and key bindings for each eq window.

I recommend ISBOXER for custom eqclient.ini, and switching hotkeys, and Window Layouts. It really is a great tool and works in conjunction with MQ.

I recommend against adding another layer of complexity while troubleshooting.

I use the autologin one and it works great for me unless a) I typo ,b) the combo clashes with another hotkey (nvidia overlays etc), or c) I load more than one window with the same hotkey.

MQNext appears to have a feature where you set the hotkey(s) by actually pressing them, so you shouldn't get a typo. I personally use ctrl+shift+1-6 for my main team, with 1 always being the driver toon.

You can make in game hotkeys though
/bct <toon-name> //foreground

Not directly addressing your question, but I pulled out a Logitech G series keyboard laying around that I now use for EQ. These keyboards have a column of exactly 6 customizable G-keys on the left hand side. I set these up with the hot key combo for each window (1-6) for each group member (using ISBoxer, but should work with MQ2 login also). Allows instant and intuitive 1-finger switching between group members. I wouldn't change it for the world. Too bad Logitech software sucks and is required to use the macros. But the keyboard itself is not too bad.

I just started to have an issue too just within the last two days my hot keys for switching between characters in my case Ctrl+shift+1-6 but Ctrl+shift+1-2 is what stopped working.

I tried to use the key in other applications it works fine.

I switched the hot key to 3-8 and it works fine but it doesn’t explain why MQ2 is having an issue with just ctrl+shift+1-2

Any thoughts suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Anyone else having an issue this morning using the MQ2 profiles or launch clean launcher functions? For example I try to load a group of six profiles, 2 of 6 make it in no issues, and the other four go on an endless cycle of loading and trying to reload.... after about ten mins a couple more make it in but not all. I try to stop them and launch clean to manually type it in but it instead MQ2 starts trying to load one of the accounts I was loading earlier and I can't manually type it in. Very odd.

I have this exact issue as well. I switched my hot keys and I am able to cycle through charecters again but it’s doesn’t explain what’s going on with 1-2.

I was going crazy trying to figure out what the hell broke. I tried my spare keyboard I tried checking it within other apps and games thing maybe my switches were broken. I could not replicate the issue outside of MQ2.

Now that I think about it maybe eq assigned this key to the game I am going to keep troubleshooting this issue to see what I can find.
