Hello all.
For context, the issues experienced were on Test server. with the test compile / available plugins / RG launcher nav meshes. Nothing used can be found outside of Redguides.
My friend and I were raiding Crystallos on test (at level, 80, 24 toons) and we encountered some very weird issues with our CWTN enabled damage classes when engaging Kerafyrm.
MQ2Monk, MQ2Berserker ,MQ2Eskay, MQ2Paladin, MQ2Rogue, Beastlord, etc. everyone had the same issue where, when put on chase, they would not assist the main tank and hit Kerafyrm.
We tried putting everyone on camp, vorpal, we tried changing chase radius, camp radius, attacking him from the left or right side, nothing worked. If we manually tabbed to the box and turned on auto attack, the boxes would then stick to Kerafyrm as defined and attack, but they would not use any offensive specials. Monks used indomitable stance (we are level 80) but not wheel of fists, did not flying kick. Berserkers would not flurry. Rogues would not backstab etc.
Our gamparse over a 6 minute fight showed that our kissassisted bards and ranger did 10x the dps of our dps classes running cwtn. We obviously wiped. We tested it again with a level 120 tank so that we wouldn't have to worry about all of the fight mechanics so we could troubleshoot, and we ran into the same experience.
Mid fight, disabling mq2monk, and setting up a kissassist monk, importing an ini, yielded much better results. Kissassisted characters function fine, which led me to believe it is an issue related to CWTN.
I could replicate the issue every time. I am unsure of what could cause this problem, my initial reaction was that the navmesh may be messing with it as Crystallos' navmesh (in the navmesh pack) is really buggy.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this experience (I'm sure Crystallos is a very low impact area, most tlp'd die before they get there and it was 15 years ago on live) but was looking for feedback, and if nothing else, to report the issue.
