Question - Cures working for anyone?

Just turned cures back on to try out the new system. Shammy won't cure anything now

CuresOn=1
Cures1=Abolish disease|disease
Cures2=Counteract poison|poison
Cures3=NULL
Cures4=NULL
Cures5=NULL

is what my cures section looks like. Anyone else having this problem?

Make sure MQ2Debuffs is loaded and that all the characters are running KA. The cure routine reads the kissassist_buffs.ini file to see if anyone needs to be cured.

hmm..just looked in the kissassist_buffs.ini for the first time. it appears to list the current buff/debuffs that each character has? is that right? Is there anyway to save a set of buffs per character so each one is a little different?

lol, sorry about that. I was just saying that was the first time i've looked in the 'kissassist_buffs.ini'. It looks like its a list of the current buffs on each 1 of my toons. So I was wondering if there's a way to save a set of buffs to each individual toon so it's always cast on them. Going thru the buffs section in kissassist_shammy.ini for example doesn't let you put a buff on a specific toon other than MA and Me. So for example...I want talisman of altuna cast on my ranger, but not on my rogue or bard, so i can't use the 'melee' tag inside the buffs section (and my ranger isn't MA).

and yes, everything is on the same computer. before 8.4 my shammy would attempt to cure but it was not worth it (i play on TLP). Now he does nothing.

You know what. Not currently but I can defiantly add a class tag so it will cast a spell only on that class like |ranger |cleric etc. won;t happen this weekend as we are in the middle of fixing bugs but look for it in the next few releases.

Will check out the cures thing later.

Do you have those spells memmed? When trying to cure?

that's awesome, thanks man! I guess it's not much of an issue on live with group buffs being in...but its a PITA on TLP atm, lol

And i do not have the spells memmed. But I didnt have em memmed prior to 8.3 either. My shammy would just sit down and mem them on slot 8 when I needed a cure.

No.

The kissassist_buffs.ini file is written too by each individual character running on the same computer or running MQ2 from the same location.

Here is a simplified explination of what is in the ini file.

[23339] <--- Beginning of the section for a character and is the ID of the character for the current session.
Day=1 <--- Day of the Month Last recorded
Hour=17 <--- Hour of the day last recorded. based on 24 hours
Zone=755 <--- Zone.ID
Buffs= <--- Will be a list of Buffs in the characters buffs window at the time kissassist last recorded. Spells are separated with the "|" character. See example below
Blockedbuffs= <--- Will be a list of Buffs in the characters Blocked buffs window at the time kissassist last recorded. Spells are separated with the "|" character. See example below
Debuffs=0.00 <--- Will be the total of debuff spells on you at the time kissassist last recorded. Total of Poisons, Diseases, Curses, and Corruptions.

Examples:
