Crystal Caverns, Fragment of Fear is a Rain of Fear expansion.

The area for this guide is for getting Named and equipment.

Prep:
Get your mesh files here.
Ensure that you use the plugin mq2navigation: in-game command /plugin mq2navigation

You need to work your way all the way down to get the the marked area. I never ran into anything that saw invis, but that is not to say there isn't any critters that might spot you.

I set my /maxradius to 250 for my needs, and that will keep the room cleared and pull up the the 90 degree hallway turn.

Put your toons as tight into the corner as you can. At 100th level I can park my toons there, laydown my campfire and I do not get any aggro while not invis'd.

The Green circle are where you want to look for named that might already be up. Kill them and ensure that only place holders come up. Once all placeholder are up in the two green circles you can now do your extended AFK or whatever you would like to do here and get a cycle of up to three different named:
A Life Leech
A Hollow Crystal
A Terror Carver
I have gotten every Fear Touch piece of armor from this camp, and I think just about every rare for RoF expansion, except the dang mask I have been hunting.

The named drop Greater all the way down to Minor Dreadmotes.

I would say this is a safe camp, is it is older content, out of the way, and off the beaten path.

In the old days I would zone in, invis, levi and drop down the hole to the bottom then I could run to the dain town. Can you still do that?
 
I tried this the other day. My character kept getting stuck on the second turn while running back to the group. Puller would get out to the stairwell near the spiders, grab a mob or 2, and then get stuck on the first turn running back.

One solution is to build your own mesh file for the zone.

Another solution would be to reduce your /maxradius. This strategy guide isn't for constant non-stop pulling. This guide was to have a single room for three named to spawn in so that you could farm bazaar trade items, dreadmotes and other rare items.
 
Have to agree with GPS here. The named spawn very frequently, generally with a number of items on them. The bazaar items are quite valuable- vitalising stones, dreadmotes, fear touched, jewlry slot items and decent non prestige armor for those without cotf and who are ftp especially as this expansion/zone will open up to ftp once the new expansion comes out. There is down time as it is not constant pulling but a decent trade off in items.

In a 4 hour camp I looted 4 stones, about a dozen various dreadmotes from greater down, about the same number of fear touched of all slots, and another 20 odd assorted bazaar items not including the rof tradeskill stuff.

I would suggest just having a mage in group to coth you down just for convienience as it is a little out of the way. There is also a couple of mobs to ignore as they are in other tunnels but still fell within my radius which iirc I had set at 250.
 
Thanks. I ended up turning off MQ2Navigation and just allowing Kissassist to pull anything within line of sight. I ended up with several pieces of fear touched, dreadmotes, purity augs, and misc. tribute items. That room has several named which can spawn.

Chetari Mask? I got two hunting in the sewers/underground area in Valley of King Xorbb. Your mileage may vary.
