Question - Crypt Robbers Raid (ROS)

Working through ROS raids right now to grab talendor trophy. I can’t find a decent write up on this event and I can’t seem to figure out how to accuse one of the NPCs. I get the concepts of the clues but have no idea of how to accuse a mob.

Anybody able to provide any insight here? I know Trophy of Talendor has been pretty popular.

This is a shit raid - but probably a good one for a Lua. But unfortunately when it was current - Lua didnt exist in mq - so i dont know if anyone has one for this quest.
The good news is its a lot easier at 125 for survivability - but over dps will cause you to miss clues.
I did try to see if i can just burn the entire thing but it went horribly wrong and you end up just dying to ae when Drusella HP lock.

There are 4 mobs - Athises, Bhaleus, Caleus, Deutocia that will give you clues at certain %
There is some text that tells you when you can learn a new clue - so you need to watch for this or make a trigger, then target a mob and you say to these mobs "What do you know?"

That spawns chests which you need to DISARM and unlock with your rogue/bard.

It all becomes very chaotic when doing the main fight and collecting clues.

Interesting. That makes sense. I ended up living through all the ae and started wondering if I could accuse without the clues. What I couldn't figure out though was how to accuse.

One round of fights I ended up just using one group on Drusella and that was slow enough to get the 10% clues unlock (every 10% new clue). My biggest issue that time was killing adds without attacking Drusella. Survivability wises it's easy enough to manage but just need to tweak my groups to kill adds while i collect stupid clues manually (easy enough given the low damage event),

How do you turn in the final clues though? that's not clear to me and I was the level lock with Drusella (9% ) with no way to guess from what I could see.

if your on a server that is current, I don't think you even have to do the older raids. I thought everything was unlocked and you could just jump straight to the 3 VP raids where the trophy drops.

I don’t believe so. I had to knock out partisans on my newer chars because initially I was requesting FF through an old char. So the zone sare open but I don’t believe requests are.

I would like to add that it was not that hard with just the two of us. everything assisted me, and he just played a rog to play the game of clue that you have to play.

So I saw that originally. Still had some questions but after running a few times, changing some raid hotbuttons up to control my mob better. I'm starting to run it pretty smooth. I think I'll get this down shortly but running into two things:

1) not been able to get sense trap and disarm traps to work on coffins. No idea why and /open certainly isn't working (combat issue?)
2) when I do get it done who am I doing the report to?

For 1: that part my buddy was just running his rog manually and just had to target the chest/box thingies and clicking the sense trap and disarm trap buttons.
and for 2: iirr you report back to whom you hailed to start the event.

Hmm I’ll keep trying with rogue. I was doing it manually same way and just could not get it to work.

For number two will I get a different option at low health? Never saw one pop up. But good to know ifs who you start. I can figure this out just need to get a bit cleaner and figure out traps. The rest seems to be easy because damage is so low.

Ok so I saw that on freelance and that had me confused. What’s the text to start the accusation? Since I’m not getting any difference in jail that was the final step I was confused by.


Edit - Actually nevermind. I finally got the submission working. Grabbing all the tells but can't seem to get sense trap/disarm to work on rogues for coffins.

Well figured out one solution. Burn hell out of drusella gather all info quick and then guess on the item. Only took 3 tries that way....

For this, you need to have a successful sense/disarm sequence. These can fail and you'll get an emote if the skill fails. But you have to Sense, then disarm, then open. If any part of that fails, you have to start over with sense trap again. So you do Sense, check for success, disarm, check for success, then open. I used to manage this mechanic for my guild when it was current. I remember a particularly unlucky night where I got stuck on a coffin and either sense trap or disarm trap would fail over and over. I just barely got it open before the next clue was coming up.

I know this is old but I am working this raid now.

To start the conclusion : say "Motive for the theft" to the one you started the event with Then you have to pick the motive item and person.

I tried just burning her down and she locks at 9%. I tried to start the end and was just going to guess completely but the guy said "Are you trying to get us all killed?" and ends the raid and killed almost all of my guys.

Next time I will burn her to 9%, go do hails with the guys one by one then guess without opening any tombs. See what happens.

My plan for the next try is to have SK, SHM just tank Dru, and the rest of the raid do adds with the PAL and rotate the hails manually by myself when they are available. I figure with just the SK doing dmg it will go slow enough.

Can't try again for a couple days but I have an idea I wanted to jot down.

SK and SHM out of raid grouped and tanking Dru.

Rest of my raid (10 left) save my rogue can assist my Pal who will be raid main assist and I'll put him into the center in tank mode. Will put bard into puller mode and pull everything except Dru to raid.

Rogue will be run manually by me and I'll play clue.
