Problem - Crashing when zoning

I am crashing a lot when zoning recently. Is there anywhere I can upload the crash dumps for someone to provide some suggestions?

Running without MQ2 and I don't get any crashes. With MQ2 it does. I'm running 18 toons on one PC. If I zone all or just 3 of them at least one will always crash. I've tried reinstalling and removing all plugins but the problem persists.

Any suggestions for next steps in resolving or narrowing this problem down?

Log sent. I'm wondering if it could be performance related?

I'm running 18 toons an i7 and the processor runs at 80% with all 18 loaded. just throwing that out there as well.

Thanks for your help.

I have an i7-4790k, gtx 750 ti graphics card, and i think 8 gigs or ram (not home right now so this is from memory) I can run a full 3 groups (18) but i get crashes a lot on zone. When i only run 12 toons i hardly ever get a crash.

I get crashes all the time when I zone, like almost every other zone... Especially if I have been in a zone for a little while. Also, how I zone seems to affect it. If I click something I seem to crash (i.e. fellowship, pok clicky, tomb doors in tbm). I have a similar setup to whiteviper with 16gb of ram also running isboxer. I can run 3 groups and my cpu stats look fine, but once I zone it goes to hell...

Your wish.... Another 26 sent. :)

I'm going to run my guys around without using MQ2 for awhile to see if I can reproduce the errors without MQ2 running and see if I get normal crashes as well.

Regards

So far I've run my toons around a number of zones porting picking up bits and no problems so far.

For reference I'm running an i7 4.6OC, 16GB Ram and a couple of 980s. I'm running at 80-90CPU usage most of the time. Wondering if it could be a processor contention issue that MQ2 doesn't like or something. Load is spread across all cores. RAM isn't the issue. Still have 4-6GB free.

Out of interest what do you use to view the debug files?

3 hours no crashes without MQ2 running. Method for zoning doesn't seem to matter. TLs, running into zone lines or clicking items. The Crashing was consistent.

Thanks for looking into this. If there is anything more I can do to assist with the trouble shooting please let me know.

On a side note it seems to impact some characters more than others. My bards for example crash a little more than the rest. I did wonder if it had something to do with the /twist command so tried turning that off. It didn't seem to make a difference.

I also deleted both the MQ2 character ini file but that didn't make a huge difference either.

Just as additional feedback since the last patch I crash very rarely now either zoning or using the map.

Sometimes I crash when zoning but like 1 in 90.

Thread necro.

Anyone got any experience with this problem or know any tips? When I zone with my 6 box, about 2 of them will not make it through about 70% of the time. The weird thing is that I had a day last week when I did a quest that involved a lot of travel, and I zoned about 50 times without a single crash. Yet every other day, I lose a couple of characters on most zones. Sometimes if I wait ages (like 2 minutes) a stuck character will eventually pop through the zone eventually. But usually they never come through and I have to end their task and log them back in.

I tried logging into EQ without MQ2 and I got on my wiz and ported about 15-20 times and didn't get any issues.
