Problem - Crash Upon Zoning (TD)

Hello-

I think I've isolated a bug of sorts to Redguides, but not sure.

I six box, and ran my crew to Timorous Deep for an epic quest. In Butcher, I took the translocator and all six toons crashed immediately when zoning. When I tried to log back in and enter world they crashed again. I tried again and thought there was something up with the zone. The only way to get my toons out, because they were in TD, was to wait for the "Return Home" feature to become available.

I did the wait, and ran them to South RO and tried to get to TD from the other direction. Same issue, instant crash on translocator. I then tried the boat, same thing. Crash.

I unplugged RG and loaded everything up manually and was able to enter the world, no problems at all. I zoned out, and back into TD, all works.

I loaded RG back up, and all six accounts crashed.

This only happens in TD, and I have not experienced this in any other zone, but I have not tried all of the zones. Just the ones I've been running to for epic.

Just wanted to share in case it can be resolved.

crash report ID?

upon many/most crashes, you get a popup that has a crash-ID with instructions to "control+c" inside that box to copy the crash contents. this crash then gets uploaded for the MQ devs, and a couple of us others to check. we need that crash id

I don't recall seeing that pop up. This is the only thing that popped up:

"Copy the contents of this dialog to your clipboard by pressing Ctrl+C" which then allows you to "Control+V" to paste the contents somewhere.

which means people don't have to try and type out that crashID.

CrashID: d2b579ba-8d63-455b-a990-c2f48dba09dd

Easier for me to type it out than to replicate again and recover the toon from the zone.

Are you running the emu memory increase thing for the rof2emu build lordvegga?

if you haven't already check out @aquietone 's sticky

I know your relating this to redguides, but there are fair amount of people having crashing issues since last patch. We have a few in my guild that can barely stay online since last patch. They seem to crash upon zoning almost every time.

Are you in emu and have you followed the guide linked above?
If you were asking me, yes I did. I took it to as much extreme (as low as the settings could go) as I could and I was left with a laggy mess. I decided I preferred crashing to lag so I wiped it all and started from scratch. I no longer use the custom UI that I love to try to improve things too which helps. I have just resigned myself to the crashing. With eliminating the custom UI and using the default and adjusting most of the settings all the way down, the crashing is less, but the lag is still there - just a little less than it was. My other 5 toons rubber band like crazy in POK and Nexus.
