Is there a way to send commands from my main to the rest of my group? Example: How would i tell my group to all stay here while i clear a room and then once the room is clear have my group follow me again? Thanks

The answer to all your needs is EQBC
From there you can issue commands to any character who is logged into EQBC

In your example you would do something like this.
Assuming that you are running Kiss or one of the Auto macs on all toons.

To get them to stay while you go pull, scout etc..

Rich (BB code):
/bcga //chaseon 0
/bcga //chaseoff (if you have one of the auto macros running)
/bcga //camphere

To get them to follow you again you would type.

Rich (BB code):
/bcga //chaseon 1
/bcga //chaseon (for the automac crowd)

Pro tip - Make hotkeys of these commands and roll like a Pro.

There are about a million commands you can send to your toons either as a group or individually.
In the words of Yoda "So powerful it is"

Thanks, im not 100% sure what EQBC is or how to set it up but i do have it on my desktop (prob when i re-downloaded MQ2) all it does when i click on it is say, "Waiting for connection on port: 2112".

isn't chase specific to kissassist?

I use eqbc and stick commands to have my team follow me.

follow:
Rich (BB code):
/bcg //stick id ${Me.ID} 10 uw

stop:
Rich (BB code):
/bcg //stick off

baically tells all groups members to follow me @ a distance of 10

/plugin mq2eqbc
on every eq instance run: /bccmd connect <computername> ....that is running the eqbc server thats listening on port 2112>

every mq2 client that connects to the eqbc server can then be issued commands using /bcg //command etc..

look in the plugin section to read about mq2eqbc. It's a wonderful plugin.
