Question - command issue

i am trying to use
\dex NAME cast spell 1
it is says
couldn't parse cast spell 1

how can i verify i have devnet installed and working?

/dex wouldn't work if it wasn't a valid command. The error you're getting is because "cast spell 1" isn't a valid command or parsable input.

/dex NAME /cast 1
