Question - Coming back to MQ and KA after a year

Hey all,

this is a pretty open ended question but...has anything majorly non-backwards compatible happened with KISS in the last year or any big changes/additions?

I’m going to be playing on Rizlona and likely using KISS, wondering if there’s anything big that I should be aware of. Was going to take my ini files from Ragefire and use them as a baseline if they will still at least somewhat work

conditions have changed from a year ago i guess, and soonish kiss12 comes out, with brand spanking new features, and optimized code.

Welcome back. I'll also be playing on Rizlona. Yes, lots of great changes. Start with what you know (KA), and then look to expand/explore.

If you've only been gone a year I wouldn't say anything drastic has changed. It may take a few days just to re-acclimate yourself with how the system works (it took me about that long at least). In my case, I've already got new .ini files mapped out. Just seemed easier than trying to re-use an entire .ini from Ragefire.

As others have mentioned, Kiss12 will be coming soon with a ton of new functionality and usability added in. Keep an eye out for that.

I was curious if anyone was gonna tell him that mobs carry lasers and chase u across zone lines and into other games besides EQ
all in all u have to kill mobs and do EVER quests
this game was not reinvented in the year you were gone sir, wb, its as if you never left, you wont have any problems u cant adapt to
