Problem - "Come to me" and Follow me" don't work, even with EQBCS connected

Hello!

EQBCS is connected and I can see the group members in the CLI and in the MQ2 chat window in-game - when I click "Come To Me" or "Follow Me", the group members don't move or do anything.

What other information would be needed to troubleshoot this?

well you will want to ensure that your eqbc is working for everyone. you need the eqbcS (server) running, and everyone connected to it > EQBC Instructions <

if you did a /noparse /bcaa //bc ${Me.Name} everyone should say their name. if they don't, then your eqbc isn't working and you need that fixed. by the stuff above - and likely to ensure that your pc is allowing eqbcs to be allowed to work

if it is working and everyone is saying their name, then you will want to make sure everyone has mq2nav setup (with meshes) and mq2advpath

> HERE < are the new user vids to setup mq2nav and dannet

"come to me" uses mq2nav --- /plugin mq2nav (needs to be loaded on everyone)
"follow me" uses mq2advpath --- /plugin mq2advpath (needs to be loaded on everyone)
since they're both not working i would suspect your eqbc isn't working as you think it is

> MQ2Dannet instructions <

The issue ended up being the interface. Mine needed to be set to /dnet interface "Ethernet" instead of /dnet interface "Loopback Pseudo-Interface 1".
which the above

When I type /noparse /bcaa //bc ${Me.Name}, I do see each character list each of their names in the in-game console. Each character shows Connected! and echos the names of those connected when logging in. It seems that EQBC is working.

ok so we know eqbc is working.

did you ensure the plugins were loaded as i mentioned?

also, it is important to ensure you edited your groupinfo buttons for eqbc as they are defaulted for dannet these days

you can see what the button is by hovering your cursor over the button and seeing what the popup says

if it says "ComeToMeCommand=/dgge /multiline ; /afollow off;/nav stop;/timed 5 /nav id ${Me.ID}" that means it is setup for dannet (which i would recommend just anyhow)
if it says "ComeToMeCommand=/bcg //multiline ; /afollow off;/nav stop;/timed 5 /nav id ${Me.ID}" that means it is setup for eqbc

if it is setup for eqbc, and eqbc is working, and the plugins are loaded on everyone - I would make sure everyone is in the group to send them group commands =p but i suspect it is the dannet/eqbc thing

if you click that previous link i shared it shows dannet (which is near 0 setup for most people). I personally use both eqbc and dannet

The easy answer is to stop using EQBCS and just make the move to Dannet. It's absolutely superior in two ways:
1 - More command options, meaning raid and zone commands, not just group and All Online commands.
2 - Doesn't require a "server" via windows command prompt to function.
3 - @dannuic is awesome - and yes that's 3 out of 2 ways it's better!

Unlikely, but it has happened to me before. Are you sure you have the mesh loaded for the zone you are in and your toons are on the mesh?

To add to this, depending on where you are at several meshes are broken. I had to recreate/fix a lot of meshes on my own to be more functional.

Thank you for all of the suggestions!

do you have yourself set as MA/MT/PUller? i find even though fairly basic and obvious that i still have to set this manually even though i have it pre-set .. i use both eqbc and dannet due to plugins macros i like etc
